Lytham Hall Art Fair November 2018 is delighted to return to Lytham Hall for our Winter Art Fair on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th November 2018 Event information and how to apply If you are interested in applying for a stand at Lytham Hall please complete the online form. If you cannot complete the online form, please email us at hopefulandglorious@gmail.com for a Word version of the form to complete. We will select artists to reflect a high quality, diverse range of artworks. This is a fair where visitors expect to find unique gifts for Christmas. Your application may be declined if it is too close in subject, style or craft to another artist who has already been accepted. Should your work be selected we will send you a stall offer and invoice. To confirm your stall, payment must be made within 10 days. Lytham Hall have increased their rental fee this year to support work and maintenance of the hall. We are keeping all stall fees the same as in 2017. Lytham Hall has been able to offer us an additional location within the long gallery of the hall which will enable us to extend the range of stalls on offer. Lytham Hall have done a lot of improvements over the last 12 months with a new plant centre, vintage and antique emporium, refurbished courtyard and by November the front of the Hall should be fully repainted.
Locations within Lytham Hall 1. Upper Situated within the first floor of the across 2 rooms and accommodating around 22 stalls. Access is available by stairs or lift. 2. Long Gallery Situated between the Upper and the Courtyard. Accommodating around 12 stalls. Access is by stairs only. All stalls will be directly against a wall with chairs next to the stall rather than behind. As this is part of the Hall it can be a bit chilly on cold days. There are no sockets so any additional lighting would need to be by battery powered LED. 3. Courtyard Outside approximately 6 stalls Inside Courtyard Rooms approximately 9 stalls ground floor In the Courtyard, there will be stalls available for artists/local makers displaying and selling. The outdoor courtyard sheltered, with an over-hanging roof. Just off the Courtyard there are 2 rooms where artists can display and sell in and slightly more sheltered environment. The Courtyard/Courtyard Rooms area is the only location where we may consider a doublesized stall. If you are interested in this you would need to email us early to discuss. It is only fair that makers occupy only the area which has been paid for. If you require more space than allocated you will need to contact us in advance and there may be an additional charge. Any print racks, extra side tables or stands will not be allowed unless this has been arranged in advance.

Terms, Conditions & Information If you are offered a stand, the fee should be paid in full within 10 days. We accept cheque payments or BACs. This is non-refundable. Once payment is received we will feature your work on the website and publicity. The stall area you are offered must accommodate all of your stall including table and any print racks, display boards etc. As this is an event to promote the work of artists, makers and designers, all the products on the stand should be created by the artist/s represented on the stand. We do not accept imported work and we do accept makers who only work to commission. Publicity and promotion of a successful event requires the effort of artist, venue and Hopeful and Glorious. All artists are expected to add information to their websites, social media etc and mailing lists/customers. Flyers and posters are available. Please bring your own materials to dress your stall please consider Health & Safety issues during the setup /take down and inspect your stall regularly for potential hazards. Artists are responsible for their own public liability insurance and if appropriate PAT testing for their products, equipment and stall. It is the artists responsibility to display your work safely and appropriately with full responsibility for the liability of products and the public in relation to the stall. Any breakages are the responsibility of the artist. Please note there is no stall lighting just overhead room lighting. All electrical appliances will need to be under warranty or PAT tested and it is the artist s responsibility to make sure all sockets are switched off at the end of the day. Indoor stalls may be left up overnight on the Saturday as the rooms will be locked from 4.30pm. However, we do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to any property left overnight. In the unlikely event of very strong winds (over 55 mph) it may be necessary to delay the start of the fair or to close early as the site would be deemed unsafe for the public. In this eventuality no refunds will be given, please take appropriate insurance if required. There is some limited wi-fi in the Hall. If makers are unable to connect to this, they may use Lytham Hall's credit/debit card facility for a small transaction and handling charge (around 5% debit/credit cards with a minimum charge of 1.75 per transaction). Admission to the fair is free for visitors however Lytham Hall will be charging a small car parking fee. Booking confirmations are only final once we have made a stall offer and full payment has been received.
Arrangement of tables and pitch allocation is at the discretion of the organisers and the organisers decision is final. Special requests for specific pitch locations will only be considered once all the bookings are confirmed. We politely request that in respect of other stallholders each stall should have no more than 2 people behind the stall at any one time. Stall holders must dispose of their own rubbish and ensure that your allocated space is left clean and tidy, leaving only the furniture provided by the venue. Strictly nothing is to be attached/stuck to the venue walls. Exhibitors will be held responsible for any damage that they cause to the venue and the exhibitor will be charged for the full cost of repair or replacement. Cancellations if a maker needs to cancel their booking after payment has been made the following payments will be made Cancellation up to 8 weeks before the event 60% refund is payable Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the event 40% refund is payable Cancellation less than 4 weeks before the event No refund is payable Final set up details, parking and unloading details are forwarded to each maker 2 weeks prior to the event.
