Lancing College WHAT S ON MUSIC DRAMA DANCE LENT TERM 2019 W lancingcollege.co.uk/events

Welcome... to the new WHAT S ON calendar, combining for the first time all performing arts events at Lancing College. A vibrant programme of events takes place at Lancing College every term. We will be starting the new year with the 2018 International Barbershop Youth Quartet Silver Medallists, Tagline, performing alongside the school s A Cappella Club and Big Band. A fantastic evening of great music, singing and dancing. In the Donald Bancroft One Act Playwriting Competition, this year s two winning plays will be performed by our students with one play directed by its writer. February will bring us the ever-popular Inter-House Music competition, where all Boarding and Day Houses will come face to face in the finals concert in a mix of solo, duet and ensemble performances. In March don t miss the fun with this year s musical Legally Blonde. With over 40 cast involved, the production promises to be a blast. Book early to avoid disappointment! The Music School will round the term off in fine style with a Piano Recital by Ashley Wass; an afternoon tea flute concert filled with musical delights (and... cake!); and the highlight of the music year, the Lent Concert, a real feast for the ears. We hope to see you at the College soon! WHO S WHO...?
