FILM PROGRAMMING: 2018 SHORT FILM COMPETITIONS SPECIAL EVENTS Q&A EVENTS Broken Lizard hosted a sneak peek of Super Troopers 2, in addition to a live show! Ben Miner (SiriusXM) moderated a Q&A discussion with Jason Dallas, Joel Ozborn and director Steve Byrne after the screening of Always Amazing.

The Vancouver Just For Laughs Film Festival is entering its second year, but Just For Laughs has a proven track record and over a decade of experience of bringing impressive films and their stars to their festival in Montreal!
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2017 Just For Laughs partnered with Kevin Hart s Laugh Out Loud Network (LOL) in search of the best short films from the US and Canada. The top finalists were screened at the festival, with a grand prize a development deal with LOL awarded to the best film. Kevin walked the red carpet with some of the filmmakers prior to the screening. Kevin Hart sat down with moderator Kelley Carter (ESPN) to discuss the films and his new platform.
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2016 Conrad Vernon, Kyle Hunter, Greg Teirnan, Kristen Wiig, and Seth Rogen took the stage with moderator Judd Apatow for a lively Q&A discussion about Sausage Party, following the red carpet event and screening. Nick Kroll walked the red carpet with the rest of the Sausage Party crew prior to the screening.
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2015 Jason Reitman directed a live-read of The Big Lebowski, featuring an all-star cast, including: Mike Judge, Martin Starr, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Dennis Quaid, Patton Oswalt, Mae Whitman, Olivia Munn, T.J. Miller, and Jason Reitman.
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2014 In Converation with Nicholas Stoller gave participants an insiders view into the joys and challenges of creating feature length films, moderated by Richard Crouse (CTV). Jon Cryer joined writer/director Ricky Blitt and producer Chantal Chamandy in a Q&A discussion after the screening of their film, Hit By Lightning.
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2013 Writer/director Brad Copeland and stars Adrianne Palicki, Ben Schwartz, and Glenn Howerton participated in a Q&A discussion at the premiere of their film, Coffee Town, moderated by Ricky Van Veen (CollegeHumor).
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2012 Mike Birbiglia was on site to present his film Sleepwalk With Me. Comedy screenwriter Etan Cohen joined moderator Richard Crouse (CTV) for an enlightening conversation at Master Class with Etan Cohen.

FILM PROGRAMMING: 2010 Kevin Smith presented a no-holds-barred Q&A discussion at A Late Afternoon with Kevin Smith. 2010 Just For Laughs Comedy Director of the Year award recipient Jay Roach presented the screening of Dinner for Shmucks.
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2009 The guys of Broken Lizard (Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske and Jay Chandrasekhar) were on site to present the screening of their film, The Slammin Salmon. Aubrey Plaza and Aziz Ansari introduced the screening of Funny People. The Paper Heart screening featured an introduction by Charlyne Yi and Jake Johnson.
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2009 (cont d.) Jean Dujardin & Michel Hazanavicius were in attendance for the premiere of OSS117: RIO NE RÉPOND PLUS 2009 Just For Laughs Comedy Director of the Year award recipient Todd Phillips sat down with moderator Bill Carter (The New York Times) for a hilarious In Conversation event.
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2008 Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Judd Apatow, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride, Ken Jeong and Bill Hader were in attendance for a special advance screening of Pineapple Express. William H. Macy graced the stage to introduce his film The Deal, followed by a Q&A discussion after the screening.
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2008 (cont d.) Jason Reitman and Edgar Wright Unplugged offered the audience a master class on the comedic visions of the two hit directors. Jay Baruchel, writer/director Chaz Thorne and Rose Byrne introduced Just Buried, and answered questions during a Q&A session after the film. Father/son duo Ivan Reitman and Jason Reitman sat down for an intimate conversation at the Reitman on Reitman In Conversation event.
FILM PROGRAMMING: 2007 Rowan Atkinson was in attendance for the premiere of Mr. Bean s Holiday at the Imperial Theatre.
