How Far I ll Go Move It! (Movement for Form and Expression) (Start in a seated position) I've been staring at the edge of the water Hand over eyes looking to the right and then left Long as I can remember, never really knowing why Repeat first movement I wish I could be the perfect daughter Row (boat) from side to side (one side per measure) But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try Repeat row movement Every turn I take, every trail I track, Every path I make, every road leads back Slowly stand To the place I know, where I can not go, where I long to be Raise hands up and down See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me R hand across and put hand to ear/lean And no one knows, how far it goes Raise r hand up to side and back down If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me L hand across and put hand up to ear/lean One day I'll know, if I go there's just no telling how far I'll go Raise l hand up to side & down I know everybody on this island, seems so happy on this island Marching Everything is by design I know everybody on this island has a role on this island Row from side to side (on beat) So maybe I can roll with mine I can lead with pride, I can make us strong Quickly drop to floor and slowly rise up I'll be satisfied if I play along But the voice inside sings a different song Touch chin with both hands and gesture outwards What is wrong with me? Bring hands in to grab head and toss side to side in confusion.
