Here s the box And I ll go make your milkshake. Three baby food jars full of teeth You think you invented recycling? A good winter coat should be sturdy enough to hand down COLLEGE OLDER Lucy is an only She doesn t need hand-me-downs. I ll never have children! Mom, please? When I was Tooth Fairy I had to be creative. When were you creative? I could cook thanksgiving dinner out of one potato and a packet of soup mix! COLLEGE OLDER You ironed the sheets! Who irons sheets? I m going out I can t help you if you won t And who saves teeth in the What s it called? OLDER Mom Look at me Let s try one bite. One little bite, okay? The credenza. I d make a big show about your lost teeth And at night, you d put it under your pillow and I d sneak in when you were sleeping and I know how to be the Toothy Fairy, mom You lost Lucy s tooth in the shag carpeting!
