WELCOME! Welcome to our third annual city-wide theatre festival in beautiful Salem, Oregon! If you are a returning patron, thank you for your continued support. If this is your first Festival, you are in for a treat. In 2019, we once again host the AACT OneActFest, the Oregon chapter of a national competition; one lucky winner will advance to the regional performance in Spokane. And due to their popularity in previous years, we present nine workshops at various skill levels. Between shows, please enjoy Salem s bustling downtown. Grab a drink or a bite. Talk to someone new about the show you just saw! And remember to check out the Passport Challenge on the back page of this program to take advantage of the wide range of festival events and win great prizes! Questions? Visit SalemTheatreNetwork.org/cherryblossom or ask the Pentacle Theatre Ticket Office by phone at 503-485-4300 or in person at 145 Liberty St. NE., Salem, OR 97301. Thank you for supporting live theatre in your community.

ONE ACT FESTIVAL Every two years, AACT the American Association of Commnity Theatre hosts a national celebration of community theatre through a series of competitions, workshops, and special events. Competing performances follow strict guidelines for set up (10 minutes), performance (60 minutes), and clean up (10 minutes), followed by immediate, live adjudication (feedback) from two or more regional experts. The Salem Theatre Network is proud to present Oregon s statelevel competition, co-hosted by the Oregon Community Theatre Alliance. All performances take place Saturday at the Salem s Historic Grand Theatre. The winner will advance to the regional competition in Spokane, April 18 20. The winner from Spokane will advance to the national competition in Gettysburg, PA, June 18 22!
