In the Art Gallery: From Dusk till Dawn by Nikki Gour Saturday Movies weekly at 2:00pm Definitely Not Hollywood will be showing He Named Me Malala on May 26th. Story Time Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30 am Book Club is discussing A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah. Tabletop Gamers now open to all ages! Next sessions on May 5th and 19th. Our Programs Coordinator, Nathan, (centre) was invited to judge at the Peace Country Robotics Tournament at Red Earth Creek on April 15th. He spent the whole day checking out electronic creations and seeing what they could do. Lucky guy! Congratulations Glenmary Graduates! Special wishes to library staff members, Ashlyn and Ashton. 2

WEEKLY PROGRAMS Story Time (in partnership with Peace ParentLink) - Fridays at 10:30am. This program is designed for children under 5 years old but all children are welcome to attend. Parent participation is required. Check our website or Facebook for titles. Story Time Saturdays at 10:30am. This is a less structured and quieter program designed for preschool children but all children are welcome to attend. Parent participation is required. Check our website or Facebook for titles. Saturday Matinees Every Saturday at 2pm. Check out our Movie Page for what is showing. Titles and synopses are also listed on our website. Refreshments supplied by Kris No Frills. SPECIAL EVENTS Mother s Day Movie May 7th at 2pm. Teens and their parents are known for strained relationships but what happens when you accidentally turn your mother into a bear? Bring Mom to see Brave and find out! While you are here, make Mom a card for Mother s Day! 3

MONTHLY PROGRAMS Book Club April 6th at 6:30pm. This month we will be discussing A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah and then reading Secret Daughter by Shilpi Somaya Gowda. Bookmobile May 5th and 19th at 1:30 pm. Bookmobile currently runs to Heritage Tower every two weeks. If you know of a resident that would benefit from this service, please call the library. In the Art Gallery May 3rd to May28th. Nikki Gour s exhibit From Dusk till Dawn continues. Tabletop Gamers: Board Games - May 5th and 19th from 6 to 8pm. Tabletop Gamers is now for all ages! This is the place to be! This month s film is He Named me Malala a documentary about Malala Yousafzai who stood up for girl s rights and became the youngest Nobel Peace Prize Laureate ever! 4

We re WILD about reading! Sessions available for ages: 4 to 6 (with Peace Parentlink) 7 to 9 10 to 12 This summer we are getting back to basics and showing our wild side.
