RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve the creation and job description of: Assistant Director of District Facilities. (See Attachment) 2. ACTIVITIES 4. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve Pennsauken Intermediate School Student Council to conduct a fundraiser with the SaveAround coupon book company. All proceeds collected from the fundraiser will be deposited in the Student Activity Account to benefit the students at the Intermediate School. There is no cost to the district. 5. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education ratify and approve Pennsauken Intermediate School Student Council to hold a Food Drive for the Food Bank of South Jersey during the month of November. This food Drive will help people in the community who are in need of food items. There is no cost to the district. 6. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve State Policeman Detective SantaMaria to present a Cyber Bullying Assembly at Phifer Middle School on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. There is no cost to the district. APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM ITEM #4 - #6 TRIPS 7. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve Pennsauken Intermediate School students in Ms. Rowan s class to visit Penn Queen Diner to participate in Community Based Instruction on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. Cost is not to exceed $15 per student and transportation. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve Pennsauken Intermediate School students in Ms. Rowan s class to visit the Pennsauken Library to participate in Community Based Instruction on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. Cost to the district is transportation. 9. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve Pennsauken Intermediate School students in Ms. Rowan s class to visit the Pennsauken Police Department on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. 12:15 p.m. Cost to the district is transportation. 10. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve Phifer Middle School 7 th and 8 th grade representatives of Student Council to tour and volunteer at the South Jersey Food Bank on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Cost to the district is transportation. 11. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education ratify and approve the Pennsauken High School 21 st Century Scholars Afterschool Program visit the Mutter Museum at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. 5:30 p.m. Cost to the district is transportation. APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM ITEM #7 - #11 OTHER 12. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve True Fitness Gym to have a coat drive with Pennsauken School District as the recipient. Coats to be delivered on November 21, 2018. 13. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve the 2018-2019 Administrative organizational chart. (see attachment) APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM ITEM #12 - #13 BUSINESS AND FINANCE 14. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve the following payment of Purchase Order 90016A for equipment for Electrical and Welding Project in the amount indicated. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve payment application #2, per recommendation from Remington & Vernick, for the Pennsauken High School Stadium Improvements IFB#2019-024 in the amount indicated taken from the bond referendum account. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve the following Payment Application #1, per recommendation from Remington & Vernick, for the New Main Entrance Security Vestibules IFB#2019-025 in the amount indicated taken from the bond referendum account. RECOMMEND per N.J.S.A. #18A:18A-10 states a board of education, without advertising for bids, or after having rejected all bids obtained pursuant to advertising therefore, by resolution may purchase/lease any goods or services pursuant to a contract or contracts for such goods entered into on behalf of the State by the Division of Purchase and Property, and WHEREAS Beyer Ford, LLC, Morristown, NJ currently has a New Jersey State Contract T-2102, NJ State Vendor Contract #A88214, to provide one (1) 2019 Ford F-450 4WD REG CAB 145 WB with options not to exceed the amount of $81,701.00 taken from account 12-000-262-730-000-000-05; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary for the Pennsauken Board of Education shall certify to the availability of sufficient funds prior to the expenditure of funds for such goods and services payable from the 2018-2019 budget. 18. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve the contract with Catapult Learning, LLC to provide professional services to St. Cecilia School for the 2018-2019 school year. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve to advertise a Request for Proposal to appoint an outside service to provide a Before and After Care Program at Burling, Carson, Delair, Fine, Intermediate and Baldwin (19/20 SY) for the 2018/2019 school year with an option to renew. 20. RECOMMEND the Pennsauken Board of Education approve the Amendment of the Long Range Facilities Plan to Reflect the Disposal of the Former Central Elementary School Property and Authorization to Submit Application to Executive County Superintendent for Permission to Dispose of that Property WHEREAS, the Pennsauken Township Board of Education owns the property on which the Central Elementary School site was formerly located; and WHEREAS, the Central Elementary School site was previously, but is no longer, used as an elementary school for the Pennsauken Township School District; and WHEREAS, the grade levels that were previously housed at the Central Elementary School are now located in other elementary schools in the Pennsauken Township School District; and WHEREAS, the Pennsauken Township School District, due to decreasing enrollment, is not in need of additional instructional and/or non-instructional space; and WHEREAS, the existing school facilities are sufficient to house the students attending grades pre-k through 12 in the Pennsauken Township School District; and WHEREAS, the Central Elementary School building was demolished and the land on which it was situated is vacant and has been since December, 2012; Addendum November 19, 2018 4

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education hereby amends its Long-Range Facilities Plan to reflect that the former Central Elementary School site will not be used for offices and/or instruction and will be disposed of, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:20-6, et seq., and authorizes that such steps as are necessary to amend the Long-Range Facilities Plan shall be taken as soon as is practicable; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Education authorizes the Board Attorney to take such steps as are necessary to prepare and submit a written request for permission to dispose of the former Central Elementary School property in accordance with N.J.S.A. 6A:26-7.4, et seq. as soon as is practicable.
