Characteristics of a Quality Source A quality source is... A Primary Source Created by a Scholar in the field *Peer-reviewed (article has been examined by a group of experts and published in a highly regarded journal) Books, websites published by a reputable Publisher: established, well-known (Peer-reviewed articles contain the most reliable information since they are subject to a rigorous vetting process)
Reasons NOT to trust Wikipedia* Authors are Anonymous - articles are not written by experts and an article may contain incorrect, bias, incomplete information or not. You cannot be sure.
