The EcoMix.COMPACT consiss of a displa and conrol panel, as well as a permanenl inegraed weigh cell. The EcoMix.COMPACT is immediael read for use in poeniall explosive areas (Zone 1) wihou an furher insallaion work. A PC can be conneced o he Ex link converer YCO06-ZDR ouside of he poeniall explosive area using an (opional) connecion cable. The EcoMix.COMPACT can be conrolled wih he user sofware insalled on he PC. If ou wish o creae our own applicaion sofware, Sarorius AG can suppl he required device drivers for DOS or Windows operaing ssems. Safe Insrucions Legal Informaion This device corresponds o sipulaed safe requiremens. Improper use or handling, however, can resul in damage and/or injur. The manufacurer is no responsible for an damages caused b noncompliance wih warnings or safe insrucions. The requiremens peraining o applicable insallaion regulaions mus be followed when using elecrical equipmen in ssems and environmenal condiions wih increased safe requiremens. Wih regard o safe, i is assumed ha all circuis are earhed (equipoenial bonding). The EcoMix.COMPACT can be used in Zone 1 areas. (See Kema Cerificae in his manual and see Verificaion of Inrinsic Safe, cer. no. 36657-741-60. The EcoMix.COMPACT complies wih he applicable CENELEC harmonized European sandards: EN 60079-0: 2006 EN 60079-1: 2007 The use of EcoMix.COMPACT is no permied in legal merolog or in medical areas or hazardous areas conaining dus or explosive maerials. The IP proecion raing of he device in accordance wih EN 60529 is IP 40. The device mus be handled carefull according o he IP proecion raing. The EcoMix.COMPACT mees all requiremens for elecromagneic compaibili (EMC). Inerference sronger han he maximum values specified in he sandards (see Declaraions of Conformi) should be avoided. The connecion cables, as well as he wires inside he equipmen housing, are made of PVC. Chemicals ha corrode his maerial mus be kep awa from hese cables. None of he componens of he EcoMix.COMPACT should be exposed o ambien emperaures ouside he range from 0 C o 40 C during operaion. The EcoMix.COMPACT also mees he requiremens of he EC Direcives for elecromagneic compaibili and elecrical safe (refer o secion CE Marking). The applicaion range of he EcoMix.COMPACT is defined in he EC Tpe Examinaion Cerificae. All resricions lised in he EC Tpe Examinaion Cerificae mus be observed. The applicable naional elecrical code and safe regulaions for our paricular counr mus be observed. Before commissioning he EcoMix.COMPACT in poeniall explosive areas, a check mus be carried ou b or under he supervision of a qualified elecrician o ensure ha he ssem is in good working order. Check wheher or no he compeen auhoriies (e.g. indusrial supervisor board) need o be informed. I is also necessar o carr ou inspecions of he ssem during operaion. Inspecion inervals should be such ha an significan defecs ha ma occur can be idenified in good ime. Inspecions should be carried ou a leas once ever hree ears. The applicable requiremens should also be observed during operaion. The ssem should onl be operaed for he firs ime when i is cerain ha he area is no poeniall explosive. If deviaions are eviden during sarup due o ranspor damage (no displa, no backlighing), he ssem should be disconneced from he power suppl and service professionals should be conaced. Cleaning 3 Make sure no liquid eners he inerior of he housing. Do no use an aggressive cleaning agens, concenraed acids, alkali soluions or pure alcohol o clean he equipmen. Spraing he device wih waer or blowing compressed air hrough he device is no permied. Use a brush or a sof, dr, lin-free cloh o clean he scale. Cleaning he Weighing Pan The weighing pan should be cleaned a regular inervals. Simpl rub wih a damp cloh or sponge o clean he weighing pan. Onl use convenional household cleaning agens which are suiable for sainless seel (e.g. Sahlfix). Then wipe he equipmen horoughl unil all residue is removed. Finall, allow he weighing pan o dr.
