About KOCCA Public organization under the Ministry of Culture Promotes activities relevant to the development of the Korean culture contents business including animation, music, character, comics, mobile & internet content and edutainment content also aims to promote international cooperation and networks related to the culture content industry

Four Themes - Imagination Some of the representative works with the theme 'Imagination' Development of the cultural contents of the records that reconstructed the investigations records of Chosun era - Developed in 2002 - Translate the investigation records, the materials related to forensic medicine of Chosun era and detailed stories relating to specific incidents into modern language - Use as the basic development material for films, dramas, animation and games based on investigation records

Four Themes - Imagination Development of the heritage of the Korean myth - Developed in 2002 - Identify mythical elements that appear in the historic artifacts of Korea based on 'Shanhai Jing', the archetype of the Dongee(East of China) race and reconfigure them into scenarios and produce 2D or 3D characters - Use as materials for various business sectors (Printing/publishing, web, E-book, mobile contents, character, animation and games)

Four Themes - Imagination Development of the image contents of DoKKabi (Korean Goblin) and the types of scenario resources - Developed in 2003 - Analyze ghosts closely based on the original form of Korean tales and construct a system of categorizing and classifying the shapes, character and the acts of ghosts. Configure the ghost scenario matrix based on general regulations and the classification system of narration, and develop types of scenario materials, also build ghost character contents, and present evidentiary materials for each character - Use as materials for cartoons, advertisements, films and games
4. Four Themes - Impression Impression( 感動 ) Art Theme Subject Matter Development of cultural heritage materials related to painting, calligraphy, costumes, patterns, music and dance

Four Themes - Impression Some of the representative works with the theme 'Impression' Digitalization of traditional folktale and development of original material contents - Developed in 2002 - Select, and create into 2D images, representative folktales according to their contents, and develop 3D characters by classifying the components of each folktale into animals, birds, insects, fish and etc - Use as the source of Korean background flash, and animation for broadcast - Use as stationery and decorations

Four Themes - Impression Development of digital contents for charms - Developed in 2003 - Collect original materials from experts related to charms, and organize and classify them for the construction of a DB. Reconstruct the content/design elements to suit modern senses to develop text, photos, graphics(2d/3d), 3D modeling and moving pictures into multimedia. Find and provide stories related to charms. - Develop fashion costumes, accessories and other cultural products utilizing the charm design and patterns - Use as products resources for mobile contents and internet through digitalization - Use charm as the original resources for the scenario of films, drama, game, novel and cartoons

Four Themes - Energy Some of the representative works with the theme 'Energy' Development of the Korean combat heritage content - Developed in 2002 - Consolidate information on persons, relics and historical sites related to various combat situations involving Koreans from the beginning of history to modern days, take pictures at battle sites and have experts examine the results and develop texts(combat scenario], photos (relics and historical sites), drawings (topographical and structural drawings), illustrations,animation(combat situation and weapons) and animated pictures based on such results

Four Themes - Energy Development of digital contents through the restoration of the original form of Korean martial arts - Developed in 2003 - Provide digital contents covering the text analytical materials for the 24- technique martial art, martial arts motion data and the warrior characters(2d/3d) by producing the martial arts 3D motion and by reproducing the martial arts examination based on information on 24-technique martial arts contained in Muyedo Tongji and related martial exami nation conducted during Chosun Period - Use as the materials for game and animation

Four Themes - Wisdom Some of the representative works with the theme 'Wisdom' Development of digital cultural contents of Korean astronomy, Korean sky and Korean constellation - Developed in 2003 - Examine constellations from the viewpoint of Korea, reconstruct the astronomical map reflecting the viewpoint of Korean ancestors based on the observation records shown in ancient books on astronomy and discover and reconstruct tales, ancient novels and historical incidents involving constellations for digitalization so that they can be used for films, broadcasts, internet, mobile endgames - Use as the Materials for events utilizing the comparing with Western constellation and looking for Korean constellation(virtual reality), and use as a display video at exhibition halls - Produced as broadcast items, animation and games

Four Themes - Wisdom Development of the original form of food culture shown in cookbooks of the Chosun Period - Developed in 2003 - Construct the food culture of the Chosun period in multimedia form, in the form of a web server containing the original text and translation, dynamic pictures of the reproduced food, cooking utensil images and method of use, and a table setting wizard service covering the food, materials, appliances, cooking methods and the history of food contained in the cookbooks of the Chosun period - Use as the contents for animation, films, dramas, cartoons and character
