Where Atlanta (today) Nashville (today) Chicago (today) Detroit (H2 2016) Miami (H2 2016) Plans to cover entire footprint by 2018 Multiple locations across the US Midco Cox 1 Gbps branded Midco Gig. When it initially debuted its 1 Gbps service last year, the cable MSO said it would leverage a mix of GPON-based FTTP technology and extend into the remaining area of the market using DOCSIS 3.1-enabled equipment when it becomes available.. The first trial will likely take place in the fourth quarter in one of the company's smaller markets, and then Cox will move on to bigger markets like Phoenix and San Diego. Deploying to 300K customers in Minnesota, N. Dakota, S. Dakota, Wisconsin ; Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo to be the first area ready for Midco Gig in 2016 Other upcoming cities could be Bismarck, Grand Forks and Rapid City; by the end of the year in the Sioux Falls area. Goal to cover entire footprint by end of 2017 Ahead of DOCSIS 3.1, Cox has been rolling out 1 Gbps service in select markets using FTTH technology, including Baton Rouge, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Phoenix, San Diego, and across Virginia. Mediacom Mediacom plans to start rolling out 1 Gbps Internet speeds to its residential customers by the end of 2016. The company charges $149.99 a month for the service (Missouri) and there is a data usage allowance capped at 6 terabytes a month Rolled out the service in parts of Missouri in 2015 offering customers an 1 Gbps download/50 megabitper-second upload option. 6

International Gbps Deployments Service Details Where Liberty Global (Europe) Rogers (Canada) Videotron (Canada) DNA (Finland) TDC (Denmark) In August, 2015, Mike Fries said he expected 40% of Liberty Global s network in the U.K. and Germany would be D3.1-ready by the end of 2016, and 80% of its full footprint outfitted for the new platform in about three years. Last October Rogers announced a commitment to deliver Gigabit service to more than four million homes in Ontario and Atlantic Canada by the end of 2016. Comcast Innovation X1 and Xi5 X1 the Mercedes of Television CEO Brain Roberts When we first rolled out X1, a lot of times people thought about it as a set-top box It's not that at all, Marcien Jenckes, Executive Vice President for Customer Service said. In fact, it's a cloud-based platform that delivers experiences through a set-top box, but also delivers experiences to any Internet-connected device, whether it's in your home or out of your home. The Xi5 is a wireless client set-top that supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) television, and may also deliver 4K Ultra HD resolution. http://www.multichannel.com/news/advanced-advertising/comcast-carefully-evaluating-ouroptions-mobile/407093, August, 2016 9

Comcast Innovation Smart Home What s driving all this interest in the smart home is a confluence of technology, affordability and consumer demand. When we first went to market with our Xfinity Home service in 2010, we offered wireless sensors on windows and doors and digital thermostats you could adjust remotely from a computer or with an app on a smartphone. Soon after, we added streaming video cameras you could put in your living room. That was followed by waterproof infrared cameras you could put outside, floor sensors for the basement and laundry room to detect any flooding in your home from your smartphone while you are at the office or on vacation. 13

Comcast Innovation icontrol Comcast purchased icontrol s "Converge" software platform in July 2016 icontrol has been an important technology partner for Comcast since the launch of Xfinity Home in 2010 Converge powers the Xfinity Home touch-screen panel and back-end servers, allowing them to communicate with and manage security sensors in the home and supporting home-automation devices like cameras and thermostats http://siliconangle.com/blog/2016/06/23/whats-comcast-win-with-icontrol-acquisition/ 14

OTT Integration Netflix and TiVo WOW, Suddenlink, RCN, Grande Communications, Atlantic Broadband, Virgin Media, Com Hem, GCI The new Netflix capability relies on a TiVo box that automatically integrates a previously developed Netflix app to deliver what in effect could be perceived as a Netflix channel on the cableco s channel line-up. The concept puts Netflix on par with say HBO, Showtime, or other premium channels. Customers who search for content through the TiVo interface will see results that include Netflix content, right along with other channels and VOD (if offered). 21

Netflix X1 and Horizon Comcast to put Netflix on its set-top boxes Comcast and Netflix have reached an agreement to incorporate Netflix into X1, providing seamless access to the great content offered by both companies. We have much work to do before the service will be available to consumers later this year. We'll provide more details at that time," said the companies in a statement provided to Recode. Liberty Global strikes worldwide partnership with Netflix Liberty Global on Wednesday announced a worldwide partnership with Netflix, a deal that will bring the OTT video-streaming service to Liberty customers across 30 countries. The Netherlands will be the first new Liberty Global market to receive Netflix; other markets will follow in 2017. 22

MSO Innovation Wi-Fi Networks Total Wi-Fi hotspot count at around 17 million, with Comcast accounting for more than 15 million. Wireless Strategies Comcast announced September 20 that it would enter the wireless universe. Chairman and CEO Brian said a team of 150 people were working on launching a Wi-Fi and MVNO-integrated product by mid- 2017. The following day, Charter CEO Tom Rutledge said that his company was eyeing a wireless launch, referring to the 2012 MVNO agreement between Verizon Communications Inc. and Time Warner Cable Inc., which Charter recently acquired in a $78.61 billion deal. The wireless services, at least initially, would be offered to the companies' existing customers as the contracts with Verizon only allow for wireless reselling as part of a bundle, precluding potential customers outside the Comcast and Charter ecosystems from signing up to wireless only, compelling them to take at least one other product.
