After 8 years in working trials, and with the original Goldline installed all over the USA, Canada and the UK, we have now collected all the data and feedback from many different production environments and with hours of time spent in research and development, the generation Evo 4 machine has been produced.
Flat cutting plate, uses a patent pending shuttle system which delivers perfect registration and giving 10-15% increase in productivity compared to a clamshell press. Machine is supplied with cold rolled stainless steel cutting plate. The speed of this shuttle system has variable control thus allowing the operator to speed up or slow down dependent on what substrate they are using. The machine can also operate on dwell mode. The main platen is powered by a dual knuckle system giving it maximum cutting pressure of over 550 tons. Cutting pressure is adjustable in seconds using the operators touch screen.
The chase system uses a backing plate giving the machine even pressure. This is accessible from the rear of the machine, making it simple for the operator to make ready. Click image to view video
Chase is turned over using a reduction gear. The reduction gear can stop securely at any angle. Robust chase turnover arms and chase turnover reduction gear to aid safe operation. Click image to view video

One of our old Viking clamshell platens is nearing its sell-bydate so we decided to buy another Goldline to replace it. The main reasons for buying it are safety and speed of use.
