2nd interim report said 23 2nd interim report of follow-up meeting on the 4K/8K roadmap (July 2015 publication) Efforts related to terrestrial broadcasting It is conceivable to consider field experiments for public viewing by terrestrial waves in urban areas in order to verify the technical possibilities and achieve more-efficient transmission based on speedy comprehensive research and development. Additionally, NHK is conducting research and development on terrestrial broadcasting systems and field experiments on 8 K terrestrial transmission. It is important to continue to provide information about these achievements.
