Dear Parent, Summer vacations are round the corner and it is soon going to be holiday time. Well! holidays are meant for enjoyment,relaxation, exploring new places, playing together and spending time with each other. We at BIS believe that learning should stimulate and sustain the child's interest and should be a joy. This year we have designed some interesting, enjoyable and fun filled activities that will enable the child to acquire language competency and a systematic organisation of ideas. This will also develop his/her creative imagination and independent thinking. We hope you will spend some quality time with your child and enjoy doing these activities together. Your child does not need to make a separate holiday project file, instead will do the activities in the space provided in this booklet. Note to the parent- Gateway to good handwriting. It is rightly said that good handwriting tells us about the personality of a person. Mastering handwriting sets children up for other learning successes. It builds confidence, teaches children to have an organized approach and enhances their ability to communicate. We expect your child to develop four elements of legible writing that are letter formation, sizing, alignments on the line and spacing between words. Help your child to practice writing in English (cursive writing) and Hindi in separate notebook book for 10 days (1 page daily in English and Hindi) and send it along with the holiday booklet.
