Draft Indian Standard Industrial trucks Verification of stability Part 7 : Bidirectional and multidirectional ( Adoption of ISO 22915-7 : 2016) ICS 53.060 Not to be reproduced without permission Last date for receipt of of BIS or used as standard comments is 08.04.2019 NATIONAL FOREWORD This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with Industrial trucks Verification of stability Part 7: Bidirectional and multidirectional trucks issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) shall be considered for adoption by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Transport Tractors, Trailers and Industrial Trucks Sectional Committee and after approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council. The text of ISO Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following: a) Wherever the words International Standard appear referring to this standard, they should be read as Indian Standard. b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker, while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker. The technical committee has reviewed the provisions of the following International Standards referred in this adopted standard and has decided that they are acceptable for use in conjunction with this standard: International Standard ISO 5053-1 ISO 22915-1 Title Industrial trucks Terminology and classification Part 1 : Types of industrial trucks Industrial trucks Verification of stability Part 1: General Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. In reporting the result of a test or analysis made in accordance with this standard, if the final value, observed or calculated, is to be rounded off, it shall be done in accordance with IS 2 : 1960 Rules for rounding off numerical values (revised).

SCOPE OF ISO STANDARD This part of ISO 22915 specifies the tests for verifying the stability of bidirectional and multidirectional trucks with tilting or non-tilting mast or fork arms. It is also applicable to trucks operating under the same conditions when equipped with load-handling attachments.
