SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES Look carefully at the pictures and write a sentence describing each of them using any of the conjunctions given below. because and but if as for Sentence/Story Scramble You need to create a handout with several scrambled sentences using conjunctions. Provide your child with the copy of the handout. The child attempts to unscramble the sentences, placing everything in correct order. Interjections are generally used in children s stories. GRANDPARENTS FORUM Grandparents are special angels God sends to watch over us and and be our best friends. - Unknown Author Grand parents are a book of experiences, events and stories that strongly affect our lives and the world around us. We must acknowledge and honour grandparents for their unconditional love, dedication and contributions to the evolving new generations. A grandparent forum was organized for the students of class P4 on 27 th December, 2017. Dr. Pushpa Saini, grandmother of Anwita Saini of class P4-C, graced the day. She talked about the importance of personal hygiene and maintaining healthy eating habits for balanced lifestyle. She emphasized on eating home cooked food and enjoying homemade drinks instead of indulging completely on market-based food items.through the interactive session, children got to learn about how challenging it is to be a doctor and it requires lots of hard work and dedication. It was an enriching and inspiring session for the teachers and students as well. 10

EXCURSION -LODHI GARDENS Students of classes P4 and P5 went for a picnic to Lodhi Gardens, Delhi alongwith their teachers. The children were taken in buses. They enjoyed the day with a lot of free play, sports activities, board games etc. It was a day filled with fun, frolic, sharing and caring. Children also visited the Gol Gumbad, Gol Gumbad Mosque, and the Bada Gumbad at the gardens. It was a great learning experience for them.
