Please read through the following packet VERY carefully. This production s rehearsal schedule is very intense. Please make sure that you carefully inspect the calendar. By auditioning we expect that you are prepared to meet the necessary time commitments. In as much as a large cast is wonderful, we would prefer to have fewer numbers with greater personal commitment to the show. RULES FOR WBHS THEATRE PRODUCTION IF I AM CHOSEN AND ACCEPT A PART IN THIS PRODUCTION, I UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL HAVE TO ABIDE BY AND DO THE FOLLOWING: STUDENT AND PARENT MUST INITIAL THAT YOU HAVE BOTH READ AND UNDERSTAND EACH ITEM. 1. STAY CURRENT WITH MY SCHOOL WORK BY DOING HOMEWORK DURING SPARE TIME AT REHEARSALS. I WILL NOT USE THE PLAY AS AN EXCUSE TO FALL BEHIND IN MY SCHOOL WORK. WBHS Theatre Arts Program Online Content Standards Policy (Updated: 09.02.12) Students who participate in West Bloomfield High School Theatre Arts Program s productions, events, and activities (including, but not limited to, I.T.S. and connected program interactions) agree to adhere to the following practices related to online activities at all times. Additionally, students who violate these policies fully understand that they may be removed from a production and may also forfeit their ability to participate in future productions within the WBHS Theatre Arts Program. Content Standard 1: Photographs & Dressing Room Facilities. Students agree not to take pictures or capture video within the dressing rooms, dressing room bathroom facilities, or in the downstairs dressing room hallway at any point in time. Content Standard 2: Photograph, Comment, Link & Other Posts Within the Program s Online Domains. Students agree not to post photographs, comments, links, or other content of a malicious nature (direct, implied, or otherwise) against members of or external to the program in online domains administered by the WBHS Theatre Arts Program. Malicious nature is defined as content posts that genuinely serve to negatively harm or reflect upon program members, the general program, non-program members, or the overall goodwill among the collective group. Content Standard 3: Group Governance of Online Content Standards Policy. Students within the WBHS Theatre Arts Program agree to actively govern the behavior of fellow members with regards to their adherence to the WBHS Theatre Arts Program Online Content Standards Policy. Content Standard 4: Voluntary Policy Adhere in Peripheral Domains. Students within the WBHS Theatre Arts Program understand that they are free to post online content of any sort to domains external to those formally administered by the WBHS Theatre Arts Program. They also understand that consequences of policy violations DO NOT apply to content posted outside the domains of those administered by the WBHS Theatre Arts Program. However, students do realize and accept that their actions and comments online, private or otherwise, are a reflection of their character.
