Jana Ludvíčková was born in Prague. After completing her studies in Prague, she won a scholarship to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with prof.david Takeno. She graduated in 1998 with a First Class Bmus Honours Degree with Distinction and then continued her studies on the Postgraduate Advanced Instrumental Course. She won several important prizes, while at the GSMD. She has given many solo performances in the Czech republic and has attended masterclasses with Yehudi Menuhin, Lorand Fenyves and Alberto Lysy among others. She is invited to many chamber music festivals as Cheltenham Festival, Chichester Festival, Spitalfields Festival, Prague Spring Festival, Martinu Festival in Prague, Moto Perpetuo Festival (Italy), Festivo in Aschau (Germany), Haaglanden Festival (Holland) and tours with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Irish Chamber Orchestra, the Luzerne Festival Orchestra under baton of Claudio Abbado, Daniel Harding, Esa - Pekka Salonen, Daniele Gatti and many others. She is also invited to make a recording for the Czech Radio. Jana Ludvickova plays a Neapolitan violin by Ventapane, built in 1810 Ondřej Lébr, having graduated from the Prague Conservatory, Ondrej Lebr was admitted to the Faculty of Music at the Academy of Performing Arts to the class of Petr Messiereur. Thanks to the significant scholarship of Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97, he could continue his postgraduate studies and prestigious master studies at Hochschule fur Music Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden in Ivan Ženatý s class in 2000 2005. He actively participated in masterclasses at Frank Gulli and Zakhar Bron, with whom he studied thanks to winning a scholarship competition. During his studies, Ondrej Lebr recorded several CDs with violin concertos of contemporary American authors for recording companies in the USA. He performs in the Czech republic and abroad; he has cooperated with Czech chamber and symphonic orchestras, with renowned artists (Josef Suk, Václav Hudeček, Martin Kasík, Jana Boušková, Kateřina Englichová,); he also participated in a chamber cycle of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. He has been making recordings for the Czech Radio and Czech Television. In 2008, a unique scorebook was published in his revision and interpretation J.F. Mazas - Études spéciales op.36/1 with the second violin part composed by Josef Micka. This edition includes score, parts and complete recordings of all thirty etudes on two CDs. The project was realized under the auspices of the world - famous Czech virtuoso Josef Suk and he also participates on the recording, which was made in September 2007. Ondrej Lebr is a founding member of the Kalabis Piano Trio with Miroslav Sekera - piano and Lukas Polak - cello. He is also active as a violin teacher and director and founder of The Josef Micka International Violin Competition in Prague. Ondřej Lébr plays a unique instrument made by Italian violin - maker Giacomo Saltenari in 1880. is a unique ensemble, who performs compositions originally written for two violins.
