Cite while you write Keep both lib. and word files open. Better to open the lib. first In word file : put the cursor where you want to put the citation ( also you can In word file : choose 1 button for moving to lib. In lib. mark the citation you want :
Tips of citing while you write If you are not able to see the Endnote tab on your word page next slide helps you If you see {Feeney, 2014 #23} instead of (Feeney and Hayes 2014) : simply, instant formatting is off! (2) turn it on. Though In heavy texts it is not recommended Recommended : At last use update citation (3)

Explanation 1. Opens the library : Edits the reference itself 2. Searches the web for new updates of the ref. 3. Removes the ref. from the text : There s no other way to do so! 4. Inserts citations different versions of a citation 5. After you corrected some ref. in your library you need to Update the ref.
Solving a problem While you try to update a citation in your text, a popup windows always show up asking you to correct citations Change these marks to prevent popup window show up

Final tips 1. Update citation and bibliography اگر حین کار تغییری درتنظیمات اندنوت دادید از این گزینه استفاده کنید. 2. Don t completely rely on EN همیشه در آخر کار رفرانس ها را چک کنید. 3. To copy EN library, copy both.data folder and the library itself 4. Take advantage of Group tab utilities in your work
