Stanley M. Homan Stanley M. Homan was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1959. He has lived in the greater Boston area since 1977. He received degrees in Coosition rom Brandeis University (Ph.D. 199), the New England Conservatory o Music (M.M. 1984), and the Boston Conservatory (B.M. Cum Laude 1981). Dr. Homan s accolishments as a cooser include winning a co-irst lace rize in the 2008 09 Longellow Chorus International Coosition Coetition or his setting o the Longellow oem Nature. He also won a third lace rize in the 2008 Choral Coosition Coetition sonsored by The New York Virtuoso Singers or his unublished iece Anim Zemiros or SATB chorus. In 2008, Dr. Homan also received a commission rom Carolina Brass or Fanare, Tango and Fughetta on Hebrew Themes. He received a 1984 85 Broadcast Music Incororated (BMI) Award to Student Coosers or his coosition Thirteen Ways o Looking at a Blackbird. Dr. Homan also works as a conductor, lecturer, and vocalist. He has been Chie Editor at ECS Publishing in Boston since 1998. Joseh H. Albeck Joseh H. Albeck, M.D. is a child o Holocaust survivors. He ractices at the McLean Hosital in Belmont, Massachusetts, and is a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. His interests include sychoharmacology and the intergenerational transmission o sychological trauma and resilience. Since the 1970 s he has been a leader o grous or children o Holocaust survivors, has written commemorative oetry, lyrics or choral music, as well as textbook chaters and roessional articles on Holocaust-related subjects. He has been active in roessional training endeavors; the Harvard Trauma Study Grou; has lectured in Euroe and North America; and is emeritus chairman or Intergenerational Asects o Trauma or the International Society or Traumatic Stress Studies. He is also a ounder o the New England Holocaust Memorial, and is resident o TRT, Inc., sonsoring articiant research encounters between grous in conlict.
