References in the text must clearly point to specific sources in the lists of works cited. Put just the author s last name unless more than one book by that author is used. Same last names of authors need a first initial. Books identified by title have the titles shortened but still underlined. Articles have the author s
last name. If there is no name, articles or Website titles are shortened but still put in quotes. Then put the publication year/date of access. Identify the location of the borrowed information as specifically as possible For print sources- give the page number unless you are citing the complete work or it is an article in a work arranged alphabetically like an encyclopedia. Sources from the web that do not have pagination must omit numbers from parenthetical references- if paragraphs are numbered use par. or pars. as an abbreviation..
