Presenting a program of varied performance work, The Street Theatre is an essential part of Canberra s cultural and imaginative life. The Street One venue is a traditional theatre space with a continental style seating configuration on a steep rake that seats 245 patrons. The Street Two venue is a studio space with temporary and flexible seating configurations for up to 63 patrons. A core team of six people run The Street Theatre, which is an ACT Government Facility. The Street Theatre is located within walking distance from the city centre with easy access to supermarkets and take-away outlets. The As You Like It Café is an independently operated café and bar located in the foyer of The Street Theatre.
