This Technical Rider constitutes an integral part of the contractual agreement between THE COMPANY (CPAA Productions Ltd) and THE PRESENTER as well as all engagement of all performances of IMMORTAL CHI. The technical criteria included here-in represents the standards required for the normal operation of the performances of IMMORTAL CHI. Absolutely no changes or alterations are to be made to this rider without prior agreement by THE COMPANY! In the eventuality that any stage condition does not meet this criteria, any costs incurred relating to the additional time, labor or equipment rentals, and the additional costs shall be attributed to THE PRESENTER. TOURING MEMBERS The touring personnel of THE COMPANY are up to twenty-seven (29) people, comprising: Twenty 20 artists (six (6) female, fourteen (14) male) One tour manager One technical director Seven (7) crew and administration as below: One (1) Company Manager One (1) Stage Manager One (1) Sound Operator One (1) Lighting Operator One (1) Video Operator One (1) Props Manager One (1) Interpreter Note: THE PRESENTER is required to provide one (1) local experienced Technical Director and one (1) local experienced Tour Manager. RUNNING TIME The total running time of IMMORTAL CHI is approximate 1 hour and 50 minutes, including: 1st Act: 45 minutes Intermission: 20 minutes 2nd Act: 45 minutes 2/11

STAGE DIMENSIONS Width Proscenium opening Minimum 40 ft /12m Wing space (legs against walls of Minimum 13 ft /4m each side of stage) Height Proscenium arch Minimum 21 ft /7m Grid (from stage floor to grid) Minimum 50 ft/15.5m Depth Proscenium depth (from apron edge to back wall) Minimum 43 ft/13m Legs space (between each Minimum 8 ft/2.5m neighboring legs) FLY SYSTEM & DROPS Seven (7) bars are required to hang drops; The minimum bearing capacity for each bar shall be 900lb/400kg; The house tab will be used during the beginning, intermission, and end of finale; The detailed line-sets and positions for drops, lights and projectors are illustrated in STAGE PLOT OF IMMORTAL CHI attached at the end of this technical rider. MASKING Sufficient black velour legs and borders are required for masking the backstage area. Minimum four (4) pairs of legs should provide full masking for the wings and in between of minimum 8 ft (2.5m) width space allowing easy entrances and exits on both left and right stage. Besides, a full black drop is hung at the very end of upstage with sufficient space against wall for crossover. All masking is to be hung immediately after the stage fill-up finished. PROPS & SCENERY All props and scenery of IMMORTAL CHI will travel with THE COMPANY. Four (4) tables are required for placement of props on stage right and left with proper lighting on. A piece of hard architectural scenery with Chinese style will be built up, and on its very top, a projection scrim will be hung-on and removed during the intermission. A 6.8ft (2.1m) high and 19.6ft (6m) long perspective wall (made of Polycarbonate) will get in/out on stage at the beginning of the 2 nd Act. Please see the STAGE PLOT OF IMMORTAL CHI attached at the end of this technical rider for details. 3/11

BACKSTAGE & CROSSOVER The backstage area must be allowed for prompt entrances and exits with props, and adequate space for storage/placement of props is also required. A clear and illuminated crossover behind the scenery is essential for all performances. The wing space and backstage area must be lit by running lights and free of all possible obstructions. STAGE FLOOR The stage floor must be hardwood or plywood floor and the entire stage floor should be even, free of imperfections. In case of rake stage, the degree of inclination must be communicated to THE COMPANY in advance and adequate counter-rake shims shall be available when the production gets in. The carpet will travel with THE COMPANY. The performing area must be covered by carpet and which shall be vacuumed prior to each performance. AUDITORIUM ACCESS Stairs-off leading to the auditorium at each side of the stage apron are required, as audiences will be brought up onto stage for interaction during the performance. In addition, interior access from backstage to the house as well as the rear of house or lobby is also required for entrances and exits to the auditorium for stage crew as they will get access to calling the show. All these accesses shall be guarded from the public unless for the use of performance(s) or permits by THE COMPANY. FOH The space for soundboard, projection and lighting consoles (approximate 5ft (1.5m) 17ft (5m)) shall be reserved among auditorium in the front of the house; One (1) projector will be set among auditorium in the front of the house or the front of mezzanine (varies in different venues). SOUND The entire performance will be underscored by music mixing the live music and the recorded one. Due to the logistic and budgetary reasons, THE COMPANY will tour with certain sound equipment and THE PRESENTER is required to supply complementary sound equipment capable of covering the entire auditorium at the appropriate level without distortion. 4/11

EFFECTS EQUIPMENT THE PRESENTER is required to provide one (1) Antari HZ-500 Fogging Machine. The Fogging Machine will be located in the 3rd of 4th wing at the discretion of THE COMPANY. THE COMPANY will supply one (1) Antari AF-5 Effect Fan for effects of performances. Alternate types or models of Fogging Machine must be approved by THE COMPANY in advance of load-in. MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS Fifteen (15) Chinese folk drums will tour with THE COMPANY and the proper maintenance will be needed. Humid weather: The drum faces to be heated by hair dryers to make sure the drums surface in proper tension and in right tune. Other Chinese folk musical instruments require proper and gentle packing, transportation and loading in/out. TRANSPORTATION & CARGO THE PRESENTER is required to provide all local transportation for all company members (up to twenty-seven (27) people) including airport transfers, trips from/to hotel for rehearsals, sound checks, performance(s), and any residency activities as required. All ground travel shall be via the heated and air-conditioned chartered bus on a schedule as determined by THE PRESENTER. All the arrangements shall be confirmed with THE COMPANY in advance. THE PRESENTER is required to provide all local transportation for production related sets, props, costumes, lighting & sound equipment, projections, and etc. A truck with a standard 40 ft GP container will be used for cargo transportation. Please note that all cases to be handled with care and extra care on musical instruments. 7/11

SCHEDULE & CREWING Local Crew THE PRESENTER will provide estimated minimum crew stage personnel for load-in and load-out, set-up and strike, running performance(s), etc. including: Load in and set-up (6h) Rehearsal and show call Strike and load-out (3h) Two (2) Sound One (1) Fly man Two (2) Sound Three (3) Lighting Three (3) Lighting Four (4) Stage Hands Three (3) Stage Hands Four (4) Stage Hands Approximately six (6) hours will be required for load-in and set-up (including focusing and adjustment), and three (3) hours for strike and load-out. THE PRESENTER is required to have the following works done two (2) hours before the performances commence: stage rigging (including scenery, lights, sound, video and special effects) and the lights focusing must be completed; props and costumes are all in their positions; stage floor are marked; all technicians stand by; performers stand by and in readiness to run through. FIRST AID & MISCS The first aid box with plasters, bandages, antibiotics and etc. should be available all the time as presence of THE COMPANY either during traveling or performances. Sufficient gaff tapes (black, white) for stage marking, stage counterweights, magnesium, iron wire, nails, ropes will be supplied by THE PRESENTER for the use of performances sets & props maintenance. WARDROBE THE COMPANY requires the exclusive use of one (1) laundry machine (with laundry powder/liquid), one (1) dryer, one (1) sewing machine, two (2) iron boards and one (1) steam iron machine (Jiffy). One (1) experienced wardrobe person provided by THE PRESENTER will be required to wash, dry, press and repair all costumes soon after the LOAD-IN, and take care of all the costumes during the entire performance(s). Ninety (90) costumes hangers will be needed. Please note that all costumes must be ready two hours prior to the call time of performances. 8/11

DRESSING ROOMS THE PRESENTER will provide at least four (4) separated dressing rooms with enough space for six (6) female artists, fourteen (14) male artists, and seven(7) company crew. All dressing rooms should be heated or cooled as appropriate and equipped with desks, chairs and clothes hangers, cold/hot tap water, bathrooms, showers, dressers, lights and drinking water suppliers and possibly close to the stage. For each dressing room, two-three (2-3) movable clothes racks and power sockets will also be required. All dressing rooms should be under highly secured condition. In addition, radio/telecommunication facilities should be available in all these rooms to keep THE COMPANY in tune with stage running. GREEN ROOM A large, bright Green Room with tables and chairs for twenty-seven (27) people is needed for THE COMPANY to have food/drinks in prior to the performance(s). See CATERING below for more information. The Green Room should be located near the dressing room(s) and must be heated or cooled as appropriate. HOTEL & ACCOMODATION Hotel accommodations are to be provided by THE PRESENTER (please see contract for details). THE COMPANY requires a total of twelve (12) TWIN-BEDS rooms and three (3) SINGLE-BED rooms for twenty-seven (27) company members with sufficient complimentary breakfast, directly billed to THE PRESENTER. All of these arrangements will be confirmed by THE Company Manager. CATERING Bottled water, coffee, tea, fruits and snacks should be available in the Green Room at all times upon THE COMPANY S arrival at the venue; SECURITY & EMERGENCY EXIT THE PRESENTER must ensure that the theatre and that THE COMPANY S equipment (set, tools, rigging equipment, personal possessions) is safe and attended for the duration of the production. THE PRESENTER will be responsible for any loss, damage or theft which may occur. THE PRESENTER must indicate the EXIT signs to THE COMPANY and proper guidance in case of fire alarm or any contingency happens. 9/11

HOUSE TICKETS THE COMPANY is entitled to a total of six (6) complimentary tickets for each performance and ten (10) complimentary tickets for each performance where Chinese Embassy or Consulate is located, subject to availability, to be taken at any time during the tour from THE PRESENTER. PUBLICITY & PRESS Reception of performances, interviews, television segments, photo calls, and any other media, publicity, or promotional events are to be arranged only with THE PRESENTER and noted to the Company Manager for agreement in advance of THE COMPANY S arrival. For the safety and copyright of performance(s), the use of cameras and other recording devices are prohibited during the entire performance(s). The production shall be billed with IMMORTAL CHI and CPAA PRODUCTIONS LTD in all publicity and press like brochures, fliers and posters. And any reports, reviews, newspapers, magazines about IMMORTAL CHI shall be collected by THE PRESENTER as much as possible. THE PRESENTER shall use all reasonable means to provide to THE COMPANY a complete collection of all press reports and reviews at the end of the tour.
