Prince George s County Public Schools is investing in your students by providing access to myon reader, a new digital library with hundreds of digital books from Capstone Digital! myon reader can be accessed anywhere in school, at home, or wherever there is Internet access! Students and parents can access these digital books for individual reading, homework, research, and fun! Families are encouraged to spend time together reading and learning with myon reader. All digital books are complete with optional reading supports - highlighting and audio - and glossary to help increase reading achievement, myon reader covers fiction genres and nonfiction titles ranging from monsters and sports to biographies and health topics. All of the digital books are created to help you expand your imagination into the digital world of reading. Please note the password is case sensitive and should be entered with all lowercase letters. 2. Username is your school name without spaces between words. Do not include "Elementary" "Academy" or "Public Charter". Please note the username is not case sensitive. Example: Rosaryville The username on each account is your school name, There are no spaces between names with more than one word. This is the startup screen. From this screen, students are able to choose books to read based on genre, subject area, or interest categow to view available books. -
Students may also search for books on a particular topic they are interested In. Click on a "Text Search" in order to activate the search bar, Type a subject in the search bar and click "ok". 4
A search for "dogs" brings up several books. Students are able to click on a book that they are interested in reading or peruse through the available titles until they find a book they Click on one book to read. Peruse through the selection of books by navigating through the pages of available titles.
Once students select a book, the book summary will appear. From this screen, students are also able to choose to read the book, search for more books like the one they chose or view information about the book. Click here to learn more about the book.
