Thngs to Know Before Connectng Cables Protect your components from power surges Connect all components before pluggng any power cords nto the wall outlet. Always turn off the TV and/or component before you connect or dsconnect any cables. Avo:d audo hum or nterference by postonng cables correctly Insert all cable plugs frmly nto ther jacks. Place the audo/vdeo cables to the sdes of the TV's back panel nstead of straght down the mddle after you connect :(our components. Try not to col any twn-lead cables and keep them away from the audo/vdeo cables as much as possble. Make sure all antennas and cables are properly grounded. Refer to the Safety Tps sheet packed wth your TV. Protect your components overheatng from Do not block ventlaton holes n any of the components. Arrange the components so that ar can crculate fredy. Insert tape n VCR and press; PLAY. 3. Press the TV/VCR button to return to TV control. 4. Turn on Pcture-n-Pcture feature. 5. Tune TV to channel 00. For all other connectons: 1.
