FADE IN INT. S LOFT - DAY JEREAUX, 46, is staring at a photo of her son, DAVID JEREAUX, 16, in her poshly decorated office/apartment when she begins to have a flashback of a scene of violence. INT. S OLD BEDROOM <FLASHBACK> Sofia is being beaten and raped when her son, David, then 16, comes in and shoots her assailant, her ex-husband and David s step-father, DANIEL JEREAUX, 51. INT. S LOFT - DAY Present Day. David, now in his early 20 s, helps Sofia unpack boxes. David exits. DAVID I m leaving now, mom. Everything s here. Ill see you tomorrow afternoon. (composing herself) OK. 2. Sofia returns to the office of her apartment and checks her calendar. There is a knock at her office door. Ronda returns to the stage and begins to sing.

She snaps a picture of them and quickly slides the cellphone back into her purse. Sofia notices the flash but misses where it came from. She hesitantly smiles at the women as she begins to collect her things. It s only 9:30! Where do you have to be? It s a Tuesday night and I have clients coming in at 10 am tomorrow morning. I have to be fresh-faced...while you re at the spa! Touche! EXT. PARKING VALET OUTSIDE OF SHAYS - NIGHT LeAnn and Katrina wait for their cars. Call me soon! I m here for a week.
6. I will. Stop by my boutique. I have new furniture pieces that you will love! As the women get into their cars and pull away, Katrina s car smashes into a pole. A person quickly exits and runs down the street. Jesus Christ! Katrina! LeAnn leaves her car and finds Katrina bleeding in the driver s seat of her car. Someone call 9-11! She s bleeding! Katrina! LeAnn searches the streets as a small crowd gathers. INT. S LOFT - NIGHT Sofia, ready for bed, answers her phone. LeAnn. Calm down. I ll be right there. Sofia quickly changes and exits her loft. INT. HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM - NIGHT Small gathering as Sofia walks in and approaches LeAnn. Sofia. Thank you for coming. This is Mark Devlin, Katrina s husband. DEVLIN, 49, has a blank look as he greets Sofia. I didn t think she was due back until tomorrow morning. Did you know she was here? We met for dinner at Shay s. She was on her way home, Mark. (MORE)

9. She owns a furniture store on the east side of town. She wasn t due back until tomorrow. OFFICER GUYZ Her purse was missing from the scene. We ll let you know if we find or hear anything. S HOTEL ROOM - NIGHT LeAnn s phone rings and she rolls over to answer it. Hello? Ronda? Christ, it s after 2. What are you still doing up? Really? That s interesting... INT. S LOFT - DAY There s a knock on her office door. It s Mark Devlin. Mark? Mark pushes Sofia past her office and into her bedroom. He kisses her passionately as he rips off her clothes. Do you have any idea what it was like to pretend we d never met? That was before I knew you were her husband. Sofia, when I met you two months ago, you knew I was married. 11. One called me and told me the crate had been stripped of everything in it. What happened to your shipment? After it arrived but before it went through customs, someone took what was in it and filled it with cocaine. Alot of it. The entire fucking crate! Enough to send me to prison for a very long time.
