Reviews The leading men, with rich, dominant voices, are powerful presences. John-Andrew Fernandez is fearsome as the arrogant, tradition-blind Faiz... disturbing throughout but especially in the mocking laughter song... uniquely compelling, from darkness to tenderness. Barbara Adam, ITHACA TIMES, 2016 With uncommonly expressive acting, diction and rich tonality, baritone John- Andrew Fernandez as Dr. Falke set in motion the nudge-nudge, wink-wink plot, with its farcical disguises, intrigues and confusions. Charity Lofthouse, FINGER LAKES TIMES, 2016 The joy is in the performances of the very impressive leads: John-Andrew Fernandez as Giuseppe Palmieri and Alex Corson are well paired as the brothers. Both fine actors, first class voices, and not bad on their feet (dancing). Rick Busciglio, NEW JERSEY FOOTLIGHTS, 2014 Rounding out the fine cast, baritone was convincing as the spiteful Padre Damaso. Grace Jean, THE WASHINGTON POST, 2014, baritone, didn t just sing, he acted and the Delaware Chamber Music Festival audience was his. Margaret Darby, DELAWARE ARTS INFO In the comis quartet as Harlekin, appropriately handsome and swaggering, sang well. Sarah Bryan Miller, POST-DISPATCH (St. Louis)
