Little Shop of Horrors Production Contract The following are the basic responsibilities expected of all student members of the cast and production staff. Parents or guardians as well as students should sign this form to indicate acknowledgment of these responsibilities. This contract signifies their agreement to: 1. Production preparation lasts approximately 16 weeks. I understand that all students are not required to attend all rehearsal days, but I will attend on those days for which I am scheduled, including at least 1 Saturday work call. I will perform in all 4 shows! 2. I have list my current obligations on my application and understand that I will not be scheduled to rehearse or work during the times I listed. I also agree not to add any obligations that will prevent me from attending the rehearsals, performances during the times I have committed to be available (including sports & other school activities that will have a major conflict with my rehearsal schedule). [School sponsored events are not counted as absence] 3. I understand that to participate in the musical, I must pay a participation fee of $200.00 or sell $200.00 in ads for the program, by the first meeting day (Dec 1 st ). 4. I understand that all performers must have theatrical makeup and dance shoes and agree to purchase these items if I do not already own them (makeup kit handouts and dance shoe handouts are available and give more information.) 5. I understand that rehearsals begin at 6:00 p.m. with mandatory vocal warm ups. Mrs. Wood is the only one who can excuse tardiness! I further understand that rehearsals last until 9:00 p.m. and agree to have transportation home on time so the teachers do not have to wait for your ride s arrival. 6. I agree to follow all the rules at Hickory High School and understand that suspension from school may result in suspension or dismal from the play! 7. I agree to behave respectfully and cooperate with all staff, volunteers, and other students involved in the production and understand that failure to cooperate or follow the rules will result in my being sent home from the rehearsal and my dismissal being counted as an absence. 8. I agree not to use this production as an excuse for not fulfilling other obligations, such as schoolwork. I understand that this is an added voluntary activity and that my studies are my first priority. 9. I understand that I could be dismissed from the production for missing rehearsals (beyond that allotted 2 and any prior conflicts,) excessive tardiness, lack of cooperation, or grade problems.
