Author 1, Second Author 1,2, Thrd Author 2 1 Cambrdge Unversty Press, Ednburgh Buldng, Shaftesbury Road, Cambrdge, CB28RU, Unted Kngdom 2 XLIM CNRS 123, Avenue Albert Thomas, 87060 Lmoges Cedex, France. Ths fle provdes nstructons for authors submttng papers to IJMWT, and s avalable n Mcrosoft Word and PDF formats as well as a LaTeX fle (all fles can be found at: http://journals.cambrdge.org/acton/dsplaymoreinfo?jd=mrf&type=fc ). These nstructons are also arranged n the style of a submtted paper, so ether the Word or LaTeX fle can also be used as a template for submssons. As all accepted papers wll be mported nto typesettng software by Cambrdge Unversty Press, there s no need for authors to spend unnecessary tme formattng ther paper to match the appearance of the fnal publshed artcle. However authors must follow rules expressly specfed n ths document (such as how references should be formatted). All papers must nclude an abstract, whch should be a sngle paragraph not exceedng 200 words provdng a short summary of the man ams, results and conclusons n such a way that t hghlghts the mportance of the paper to the wder communty, not only to experts n the subject. Keywords: Authors should not add keywords, as these wll be chosen durng the submsson process (see http://journals.cambrdge.org/data/relatedlnk/mrf_topcs.pdf for the full lst) Correspondng author: F. A. Author; emal: author@emal.com; phone: +44 1234 567 890 I. INTRODUCTION The Internatonal Journal of Mcrowave and Wreless Technologes publshes orgnal papers on all aspects of mcrowave and RF research ncludng appled electromagnetc theory, components, analogue and mxed-sgnal crcuts, systems, optcal-mcrowave nteractons, electromagnetc compatblty, ndustral applcatons, bologcal effects and medcal applcatons. The journal encourages the submsson of three types of paper, descrbed below. Note that all papers should begn wth an Introducton secton and fnsh wth Conclusons.
A) Research Papers These papers descrbe new results n the feld of mcrowave and wreless technologes. B) Industral Engneerng Papers These papers descrbe ndustral applcatons, or research and development programs, such as those funded wthn agency programs, or even surveys of ndustral developments n the feld. C) Tutoral or Revew Papers These papers provde comprehensve hgh-level tutorals on partcular topcs or overvews of the status of research and development on partcular topcs. II. SUBMISSION To submt a paper, go to the submsson page at: http://mc.manuscrptcentral.com/cup/mrf You can then log n f you already have an account, or regster a new account f you have not used the ste before. Once logged n you wll be able to clck on the Author Center lnk and follow the onlne nstructons to proceed wth your submsson. Before submttng your paper, please make sure that you have read the remander of these nstructons. A) Orgnal Work Submsson of a manuscrpt mples that t has been approved n ts fnal form by all the named authors, that t reports on unpublshed work and that t has not been publshed or submtted for publcaton, n whole or n part, elsewhere. It s the responsblty of the correspondng author to ensure that these condtons are fulflled. B) Copyrght Authors of artcles publshed n the journal assgn copyrght to Cambrdge Unversty Press and the European Mcrowave Assocaton (wth certan rghts reserved), and a copyrght assgnment form must be completed on acceptance of your paper. C) Fle Formats Papers should be prepared n ether Mcrosoft Word or LaTeX format, and ntally should have fgures and tables embedded. If the paper s prepared n Word, the doc fle can be uploaded durng submsson, and the submsson system wll generate a PDF for revew purposes. If the paper s prepared n LaTeX, the author must generate a PDF and upload ths durng the submsson process. If a paper s accepted for publcaton, the author wll be requred to complete a fnal stage of submttng the orgnal source fles (e ndvdual fgure fles, and ether the Word fle or LaTeX fle as approprate).
D) Keywords/topcs Please note that durng submsson authors wll be requred to select two keywords/topcs from the lst provded (see http://journals.cambrdge.org/data/relatedlnk/mrf_topcs.pdf). Authors may also add a thrd keyword of ther own f desred. III. MANUSCRIPT FORMAT A) Equatons Equatons should be numbered consecutvely as (1), (2), (3) etc. and, where necessary, referred to as such n the text. If you are preparng your paper n Word, equatons can be set usng MathType or Equaton Edtor, but should not be embedded as fgures. See equaton (1) for an example. p f ( x( k τ )) = α x( k τ ) x( k τ ) p= 0 p P (1) B) Tables Tables should be headed by a self-explanatory ttle and referred to consecutvely as Table 1 etc. Please see Table 1 as an example. Though tables can be embedded as fgures n the ntal submsson, upon fnal acceptance authors must provde the source fles for tables. Upon acceptance, ndvdual fgure fles wll be requred n EPS or hgh-resoluton TIFF format. Table 1. Measured performances n dfferent operatng condtons. C) Fgures Fgures may be lne drawngs or photographs and should be accompaned by a selfexplanatory ttle and referred to consecutvely as Fg. 1 etc. An example s shown n Fg.1 If you request colour fgures n the prnted verson, you wll be contacted by CCC-Rghtslnk who are actng on our behalf to collect Author Charges. Please follow ther nstructons n order to avod any delay n the publcaton of your artcle.
Fg. 1. Wde-band push pull amplfer scheme. D) Ctatons Ctatons n the text should be denoted as consecutve numbers n square brackets wth one number per reference. For example, see the work of Author [1], Author and Other [2], and Author et al. [3]. Note that et al. s used n the ctaton, but the full reference n the references secton should lst all authors. Ctatons may also be nserted when the author s not beng drectly referenced [4], and multple references should be ndcated as, for example, [1,3] and [2 4]. E) Second-level headngs As shown n ths document, frst-level headngs should be numbered I, II, III, etc. Secondlevel headngs should then be lettered, as per ths secton. 1) Thrd-level headngs As ndcated here, thrd-level headngs should be numbered 1), 2), 3), etc. IV. CONCLUSION As mentoned above, all papers should close wth a concluson secton. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT Ths work was supported by the EU under project number AB01-2345-6789. Author Language Servces Cambrdge recommends that authors have ther manuscrpts checked by an Englsh language natve speaker before submsson; ths wll ensure that submssons are judged at peer revew exclusvely on academc mert. We lst a number of thrd-party servces specalsng n language edtng and / or translaton, and suggest that authors contact as approprate. Use of any of these servces s voluntary, and at the author's own expense.
