Tobias was roasting on the inside. He could ve gotten away with the whole fucking thing if they hadn t cheated the system. The door opened, and the guard stuck his head in. Everything okay, ma am? I heard a bang. Jess smiled. Yes, officer. I m sorry. That was me. Okay, ma am. If you need anything, I m right out here. He narrowed his eyes and closed the door slowly. Thank you.
