This Month s Meeting Minutes Greeting to all Thunderbird Lovers and Admirers The July TOS meeting was held at the Brasserie Restaurant in downtown Santa Rosa. The weather was beautiful and the group was seated outside on the patio. Arlis and Brandt Minetti hosted the meeting. Brandt did not attend however, because they have a new addition to their family, a gorgeous black labrador puppy, so Brandt was home, puppy sitting. Arlis did a wonderful job as host for the day. The menu for lunch was versatile and delicious. Members in attendance were: Arlis Minetti, Marla & Any Preston, Dee Dee & Dennis Byrne, Joan & Herman Schulze, Pat & Jim Arieta, Louise Johnson & Wes Crandall, Diane & Tim Roden, Debbie Dean & Tim Gaughan, Denise Bahnsen-Brown, Catherine Grace, and Jutta Einstoss. President Pat thanked Arlis for hosting. Arlis also had the unique idea of seeing a musical play after the lunch meeting. Those who purchased tickets ahead of time (Arlis acquired seats together for us) went to the 6th Street Theater for a production of The Buddy Holly Story directly after the meeting. It was indeed an entertaining and fun production! Pat announced that the Cars & Coffee monthly event on the first Sunday of every month has become quite popular. This now, major event averages 200 cars. This happens at the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center in Novato near Starbucks & Costco. If you d like to join in on the fun, bring your TBird or just come and check out the classics between 8-10 am. Andy Preston mentioned that an MG Car club member is looking for a 1959 TBird to purchase. Let Andy know if you know of any that are on the for-sale market. Arlis announced that we will be re-signing Catherine Grace and Debbie & Tim back onto the club roster. They have been embarking on other ventures lately, but now are able to attend more regularly. Yay! We love having you back with us! Also, the Prestons have some friends named Peter White and Joan Perry who are interested in our club. They might be guests at a TOS meeting or two in the future and possibly join the club. Our beloved Tim & Diane Roden are relocating to Gardnerville, Nevada. They have sold their Santa Rosa home, purchased a new home in Gardnerville, and will be moved by the end of the month. They will send us their new address once they are settle in. WE ALL WILL MISS THE BOTH OF YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!! You have been an integral part of the bond that has kept this club strong, fun, and successful. Please know how much the club appreciates your dedication and commitment throughout the years. Our next meeting will be on August 9th, 2015 at 12 noon. It will be held at Legends Restaurant at the Bennett Valley Golf Course in Santa Rosa. Please see the bulletin flyer for more details. Prior to giving the treasurers report, Arlis announced that she got to ride in what s dubbed as The Fastest Tbird Ever. A friend who has the 1955 Thunderbird, took her for a spin. And yes, she concludes it is indeed VERY FAST! She gave the treasurer s report. We are in good standing. The raffle winners of the day were: Dee Dee, Louise, Joan, Pat, & Debbie. Respectfully Submitted, Dee Dee Byrne, Secretary

CARS In Attendance **************************************************************************************************** CTCI REGION 3 DIRECTOR UP DATE A few months ago Keith Zimmerman announced that he was not seeking re-election as Director of Region 3. Maryanne McLucas name was mentioned but she declined the position. After much family discussion Mike McLucas has decided to put his name in for consideration for the position of Region 3 Director. At this time it is not known who the other candidate/s may be. There will be an announcement in The Early Bird and Mike requests the support and your vote for the position of Region 3 Director.
