Hello and good tidings to all! October has fallen upon us, and we re happy to follow suit with this frighteningly good newsletter! We have a lot of great festivities planned this month, including an escape room, the Apple Fest Art & Photography Show, Halloween comic books, pumpkin decorating, and more! So please dive into and enjoy the October edition of the Greene Gab! As business comes first, we d like to let everyone know about our new parking policy. We love promoting the use of downtown Bloomfield, and allow the community to use our lots for short orders of business; however, leaving a vehicle in our lots for an extended time period (greater than one hour) while not conducting library business can lead to the vehicle being towed at the owner s expense. After hours loitering should not occur either, but the community may use our 24-hour wifi from the lot. We encourage you all to contact us if there are any questions or concerns about this.

Halloween comes from a Celtic festival for the dead called Samhain. The Celts believed the ghosts of the dead would walk the Earth on this day, and left treats on their doorstep to appease the wandering spirits.

Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
