Ever since the picture was released publicly a few weeks ago it has drawn a constant flow of praise from critics everywhere, who pronounce it a triumph for stars and director. Lars Hanson, brilliant young Swedish star, makes his American debut in the role of the village minister. Gladys St. John, young American coloratura soprano, is the stage feature for the week. Other features for the week include a "Felix the Cat" cartoon, "Reverse English" and a novelty, "Sunbeams." Norma Reverts to Straight Drama Norma Talmadge has come to see things as her sincerest admirers have always seen them-that her strong forte lies in straight drama-and she will devote herself to that type of picture in the future. She will be her own gracious, charming self in "Camille," we are told. United Artists Present Their Lucky Seven United Artists believe in lucky seven. Here are the last seven pictures made under their banner and each appears to be a "natural" winner. Charlie Chaplin in "The Circus," "The Winning of Barbara Worth," Gloria Swanson in "Sunya," John Barrymore in "The Beloved Rogue," Vilma Banky and Ronald Colman in "The Night of Love," Buster Keaton in "The General" and Dolores Del Rio in "Resurrection."

No, Good Sense Miracles happen even in this prosaic age. A movie star has been found who will wear the same coat for two consecutive seasons. Comedy Predominates at Piccadilly This Week Comedies have revealed the funny side of war before and behind the trenches and on the high seas. "Tin Hats," the comedy at the Piccadilly the first four days of the week, takes a new angle and shows the funny side of life with the Army of Occupation. Claire Windsor, Conrad Nagel, Tom O'Brien, George Cooper and Bert Roach are in the cast. "Millionaires," a sparkling comedy of New York's East Side, is the feature for Thursday and the week-end. It tells the story of a Jewish tailor who achieves sudden wealth and moves to Riverside Drive to enter the world of fashion. George Sidney, Vera Gordon and Louise Fazenda are the funsters. Additional musical and screen attractions supplement both bills. A New Lillian Gish With her performance of Hester Prynne in "The Scarlet Letter," Lillian Gish reve,a1ed herself in a new light; no longer the fragile, cold and inexpressibly aloof personality of old, but a new and genuine creature of flesh-and-blood, motivated by the same impulses that stir in every ordinary mortal's breast. Her severest critics of the past have been hushed for the time being and are waiting to see what "Wind" may bring.forth. Colleen Moore Goes to School With the Christmas holidays safely behind for.another year, Colleen Moore will soon be in boarding school. She is gathering all the things she needs for school and will shortly be learning all the inside secrets of a finishing school-what they finish and leave unfinished and all that. The school and the faculties, however, will be of the motion picture variety and will be situated at First National's Studio in California. The name of the picture, not the school, will be "Naughty But Nice." Bebe Daniels is going to be busy giving things away. First she will give a "Kiss in a Taxi" and then "Advice to Lovers." Here Was Where Greatest Didn't Count Harold Lloyd will be more secret about his plans in the future. He is a great football fan and arranged to have himself and his car admitted to the Southern California and Stanford game this year. As he drove up to the auto gate he explained who he was and demanded entrance. He never got in. The gatekeeper said: ''There's been five ahead of you all ready and you ain't even got glasses; you;re no more Harold Lloyd than I am." Harold sat in the bleachers with Mildred, the wife. ----- Clara Bow is the only feminine star who has "IT," according to Elinor Glyn, so the pert little star is "it" in "It," her new picture.
