PRESENT CONTINUOUS (future arrangements) We use the present continuous to talk about future arrangements, i.e. for plans we have made for a specific time or place in the future. I m going to see Anna on Sunday = I m seeing Anna on Sunday Often the difference is very small and either form is possible Be going to to say that you intend / you ve decided to do something, but maybe not arranged to do it Present continuous more natural when talking about arrangements, common with time expressions such as tonight, tomorrow, this weekend and with verbs for travel arrangements (e.g. go, come, leave, arrive)
