Join Ever After Productions as we follow downtrodden orphan Oliver through a musical journey from his humble beginnings when he dreams of a life where he can be valued and loved. After escaping the treacherous Sowerberry s, Oliver is quickly taken in to the thief, Fagin s gang, by the Artful Dodger. It is then that Oliver meets Nancy, a young woman raised in the gang and trapped in a downward spiral of degradation. Will Oliver become a victim of his circumstances? Or will someone make the ultimate sacrifice to give him a chance at redemption? Premiering in London s West End theatre district in 1960, won Broadway s Tony Award for Best Musical only three years later. Based on Victorian novelist Charles Dickens Oliver Twist, reflects what author G.K. Chesterton termed as Dickens moral, personal, and political instincts which were the make-up of his character.
