You will see the variety of fruits, seeds, bark, grasses and flowers being applied to the floats by volunteers and professionals.
Day Three Sunday, December 30, 2007 Hollywood Walking Tour Sony Tour Glory of Christmas Join a professional guide for a walking tour of Hollywood and Highland. The tour will include the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman s Chinese Theatre, El Capitan, Egyptian Theatre and plenty of entertainment and history This walking tour where the Yellow Brick Road once wound through Munchkin Land, it is also the place where the agents from "Men in Black" battled aliens from outer space and Spider-Man catapulted from skyscraper to skyscraper. You may even have the chance to visit the sets of the hit game shows "Jeopardy!" or "Wheel of Fortune." There is a possibility of a movie, television or commercial production on any given day, you never know what or who will be just around the corner! Attend a performance of the Glory of Christmas at the Crystal Cathedral. Through the creative blend of Christmas carols, pageantry of live animals, flying angels and special effects, the nativity unfolds with colorful wonder. Pre-recorded orchestration by the London Symphony Orchestra provides the musical backdrop for live performances by adult and child soloists. The Cathedral's world-renowned pipe organ also fills the all-glass structure with glorious sounds. Day Four Monday, December 31, 2007 Universal Studios The Lakota West Marching Band will be performing at City Walk, located at Universal Studios this afternoon. You will attend the performance with the remainder of the day free to enjoy Universal Studios. Day Five Tuesday, January 1, 2008 Happy New Year! Rose Bowl Parade Rose Bowl Video Reserved seating at the 119 th Tournament of Roses Parade. A private banquet room will be reserved with appetizers and soft drinks, for both the band and the followers, projecting the Rose Bowl parade on a big screen television at the Wilshire Grand hotel. Day Six Wednesday, January 2, 2008 Free day Today will be free to do your own activity Suggested options: Ronald Reagan Library, Huntington Library, Santa Monica Pier, attending a performance of Wicked, Autry National Center, or a day at Catalina Island, just to name a few.
Day Seven Thursday, January 3, 2008 Beach day Queen Mary Spend the day at the beach in Santa Monica. The beach in Santa Monica is famous for it s Pier, lined with shops, restaurants, an amusement park as well as the best sand along the California coastline. Bike rentals are also available to ride along the famous boardwalk. Tonight will be a special farewell, as we board the Queen Mary for dinner and a farewell dance for the band and the followers. Day Eight Friday, January 4, 2008 Depart Land Only Tour Arrange transportation to the airport by taxi or Super Shuttle. Taxis cost $42 one way to the airport.
