All choral emphasis majors must complete two semesters of MUS 261. All choral emphasis majors must complete two semesters of instrumental ensembles. Piano and Organ majors must complete one semester of MUS 374 Accompanying Practicum. All Choral emphases must complete a minimum of 7 ensembles for credit. Ensembles: Plan of Study: 2015 Music Education INSTRUMENTAL EMPHASIS (woodwind, brass, percussion, piano, organ or guitar majors) Page 4 All instrumental emphasis majors must enroll in MUS 364 Wind Ensemble, for each semester of full- time enrollment except the student teaching semester. All instrumental emphasis majors must complete MUS 264 Marching Band, their first two Fall semesters of attendance. All instrumental emphasis majors must complete at least two semesters of MUS 263 instrumental ensembles. All instrumental emphasis majors must complete at least two semesters of choral ensembles. All Instrumental emphases must complete a minimum of 10 ensembles for credit.
