Music Any music, musicians, r band must be apprved by the La Grua Center prir t event. Stningtn Cmmns Cmmunity Events and activities in the La Grua Center are limited t the Center. Use f the cmmn areas utside the Center is nt permitted by visitrs unless apprved. Hurs N event shall g past 10:00 p.m. Occupancy La Grua Center has space fr 175 persns seated theater style (with the use f the mezzanine) and 225 standing. Maximum seating at tables is 100. Set up and clean up (Please see User Agreement ) Event/activity spnsr will be respnsible fr set up and clean up f their event. La Grua Center must be returned t same cnditin as fund. Spnsrs are slely respnsible fr any damage and misuse and may be charged fr any cleaning r repairs deemed necessary by La Grua Center manager. Bking an Event/Activity All bkings are made n a first cme, first serve basis. Bkings are nt reviewed r cnfirmed until Applicatin & User Agreement are signed and received. Payments will be accepted in the frm f cash, check, r credit card. In case f cancellatin within 48 hurs f event, the 20% depsit is nn-refundable. La Grua Center reserves the right t cancel any event in cases f extrardinary circumstances with a full refund. La Grua Center reserves the right t refuse use f its building fr events/functins that cnflict with its missin. In the event f a scheduling cnflict, pririty shall be given t nn-prfit cmmunity rganizatins and thse events which increase the diversity f prgramming. Alchl Plicy Fr ANY event/activity with alchl, the fllwing applies: Liqur at the La Grua Center must be served by: 1.) A licensed, prfessinal server, apprved by La Grua Center and having liqur liability cverage naming La Grua Fundatin, Inc. and Stningtn Cmmns Cmmunity, Inc. as additinal insureds. (Please cntact Executive Directr fr further details). Setting up and Decrating Any and all setting up and decrating must be apprved by La Grua Center. Taping, pasting, tacking, pinning, nailing r therwise attaching items t walls, windws, drs, ceilings, flrs, furniture, r furniture is nt allwed. Candles are allwed nly if they are enclsed in a hurricane r glass hlder that cmpletely encmpasses the flame. Catering All catering activity is the respnsibility f the spnsr.! 4
Any and all catering must be apprved by the La Grua Center prir t cnfirming the event. La Grua Center may request cpies f all licenses. All prviders f fd and/r alchl must have a business and/r liqur license, health inspectin certificate and liability insurance certificate. Caterers must adhere t the User Agreement rules and User is respnsible fr making a cpy available t cntracted caterer. La Grua Center: User Agreement 2014 January 2013 User shall be respnsible fr all set and clean up. All tables, chairs, and cmmunity shelf items in the kitchen may be used. All tables and chairs shall be returned t their strage place.! 5
Rectangular tables shall be stacked t the right f the AV bx in the strage rm. Rund tables shall be stacked under the AV bx in the strage rm. Chairs shall be stacked 5 high and returned t strage rm, as far back as pssible s that access t the tables is pssible. All black tables and any ther items such as pdium r kitchen items shall be returned t their riginal lcatin. There are 49 chairs upstairs that are fr use n the mezzanine nly. All tables shall be wiped dwn t remve any crumbs r spills prir t returning t strage area. Flrs shuld be spt swept t pick up any crumbs and spills shuld be cleaned up as well. Cleaning supplies are in kitchen. N items are t be placed n the windwsills at any time. Shades may be raised and lwered as necessary, please return t up psitin. Fr any event/activity with fd r heavy trash use, all trash shuld be bund and remved frm the premises. All recyclables shuld be emptied and put int recyclables bin in trash area. Glasses and tableclths may be used fr yur event/activity. Please empty and put dirty glasses in the dishwasher and put siled linens in the dirty linen bin.
