DFS-900M 2D / 3D compact SD / HD video switcher Overview Affordable, Compact Multi-Format DME Switcher Affordable compact DME switcher for live production The DFS-900M is designed for live productions where there's no need or no budget for a large production switcher. Bursting with features in a small, ergonomic package, the DFS-900 makes it easy to interface with HD cameras and other studio equipment, with HD SDI available throughout. It is designed to work with a variety of input formats, including 3D signals. SD / HD operation Built-in resizers integrate HD and SD video feeds without external converters, and (with the optional DVI/Composite board) the DFS-900M can connect directly to computer and consumer sources Features Native HD and SD operation The DFS-900M works natively in HD for pristine quality productions but is equally at home with SD. It features a 1 or 1.5 ME control panel. Dual multi-viewer outputs DFS-900M includes two multi-viewer outputs production monitoring. This also means that fewer monitors are needed to monitor any production. It provides an overall cost reduction and makes it easier to set up and move. Easily integrate SD and HD material Built in up-converters make it easy to integrate SD and HD material without any need for external converters, a potentially significant cost saving. Provides up to 6 channels of DVE Up to 6 channels of powerful digital video effects, including non-linear transforms, are built-in to the DFS-900M. Chromakey as standard on all keyers Extensive keying including chromakey is standard on all keyers in the DFS-900M. Option for up to 24 inputs / 12 outputs The unit can be flexibly configured according to the user's needs and budgets. It is ideal for low-budget broadcast applications. Option for DVI and composite inputs / outputs 1
Computer and consumer products with DVI or composite signals are easily connected to the DFS-900M. 3D operation The DFS-900M, with the latest V2.0 software, also includes an easy 3D mode. By linking inputs and simultaneously mixing the PGM and aux bus 3D programmes can be produced as easily as a 2D production.
