NO: PM-010 PRODUCT: K3NC Digital Panel Meter DATE: April 2005 TYPE: Discontinuation Notice K3NC Panel Meter for Up/Down Counting will be Discontinued March 2006, Replaced by K3HB-C Omron will discontinue K3NC counting panel meters and replace it with the more economical pulse input K3HB-C up/down counting panel meter, effective March 31, 2006. There are many areas of difference between the series: 1. The K3HB-C terminal rows are vertical, with a M3 screw size. K3NC terminals are arranged horizontally. 2. RS-422 communications is not available. 3. Host computer software needs to be changed for K3HB-C because part of the communication protocol has changed. 4. Use K32-DICN when bank input will be used. 5. The K32-BCD optional board should be used for BCD output. 6. The F1 mode input frequency range is 0 to 30KHz. The F2 mode input frequency range is 0 to 25KHz.
