What MDS service or support improvements would you like to see? Count Response 27 1 Audio cords 1 Better projector 1 Built in audio - rather than needing an additional wire for sound from the computer to the room 1 I have no complaints. I appreciate the room set-ups. I've always had what I've needed. 1 If we could have a computer in every room, that would be fantastic! 1 Instructions/requirements on how to use multimedia in the classroom. 1 Keep up the good work. 1 Keeping VCRs serviced More info/help on transferring VHS to DVD 1 Later hours 1 Not really. They kept assuming that it was operator error. 1 The 186 rooms are not really dark enough, although you probably have no control over that issue. 1 The service is good as is... nice work. 1 laptop sound through the speaker 1 none 1 Computers already attached to all smart rooms. Without your laptop the system is just expensive decorations. 1 There were times when I needed to use the overhead projector. In that particular room it is almost impossible to use the overhead projector since it must be placed in the center of the classroom amongst the student seats. Is there a way to project the overhead transparencies through the mounted video projector? That would be very nice. 1 I would like to see more money and resources available to MDS so that they can increase Smart and multimedia classroom presence on campus, including funding for more staff positions to support more classrooms! 1 When somelthing is borken in class at no fault of the instructor, there should be someone that can come to the class to provide a remedy. 1 More whiteboard space in these rooms. Just because they are smart, doesn't mean that less chalk/white board space is needed. 1 The screen in that room is hard to adjust, and rolls up easily alone. By the way, this is an awful room for teaching: noisy, too bright, and too warm in hot days (windows face west). 1 I use a hybrid of chalkboard, overhead and digital projector. So a room like 26-103 is a NIGHTMARE! The projector screen blocks much of the chalkboard. I switched to using a digital tablet (my own) so I didn't have to constantly have the screen going up and down and the projector going on and off. Please put the projector screen in the corner of the room when possible. 1 Maybe in an emergency (and since MDS already had my name since I identified myself during the phone call), the Polycard requirement could have been waived. I would have been happy to return the VGA cable at the end of class. Fortunately, the mechanical pencil did the trick. 1 Last year, the old projector in this room was aimed at a screen which covers only a small portion of the chalkboard Now the new projector is pointed at another screen which covers most of the
