USA 14235 Posts daydreamer Moderator Posted - 06/10/2006 : 20:10:08 Well, we know she loved Brazil and 'Carnival' and I remember hearing many times that Rome was a favourite too. Obviously is later years Ireland and in particular her "healing place" Cregg Castle. I have a few pictures taken there that I'll post soon. Thanks everyone! This is Dusty and the Springfields recording studio in the 60's, Stanhope house, the Walker brothers also recorded there, and many others who were on the Philips label. (from what I've read the recordings were in the basement, which I'm guessing was really the lower ground floor, seen above) Edited by - on 08/10/2006 14:45:53 Mads Posted - 08/10/2006 : 14:47:01 Thats a really nice building and street eh? Thanks again! Do you live close to all these places or do you just drive like a crazy person to all the Dusty sites you know of?!? Love Mads xxx Australia 3323 Posts daydreamer Moderator Posted - 10/10/2006 : 16:32:31 I remember the Shepherds Bush Empire from one day back in July 1967, last show, Dusty's second series. Spent a little time in the alley at the side (that happened so often back then!)waiting for the star of the show to appear. She didn't, at least not till later, but Madeline came out to keep us company. That's me, leaning on the wall, looking moody 5404 Posts Carole x I ve got a good thing Posted - 10/10/2006 : 18:19:37 quote: Originally posted by Mads Do you live close to all these places or do you just drive like a crazy person to all the Dusty sites you know of?!? Great to see your earlier photos again Carole! allherfaces Administrator Posted - 12/10/2006 : 20:05:08 Here's an interior shot of the Churchill Hotel, one of Dusty's favorites.
