Some comments from your performers I think that being able to express yourself is something I find difficult, but through music I find it so easy to do so, and I love seeing how much I have grown and matured as a musician and the idea of applying what I have learnt with my experiences and to be able to learn from different people about how I can further improve the way I play is very important. I love the freedom, yet the logical way music works, and the beautiful feeling of the finished product of a polished performance. Music is about connecting with others, joining together as a team and playing amazing music for people to enjoy and love. AHOMINGS - Music Co Curricular Study 2017 i love the feeling of creating sound in an ensemble. Music is part of who i am its taught me confidence, teamwork, leadership. Music is a way to express inner feelings that you cant always describe, which is why it is so important to me.

Personal, Emotional, Relaxing, Transformative AHOMINGS - Music Co Curricular Study 2017 I enjoy music so much because it is personal. Everyone can someway or another connect to music - connect to a song lyric can connect to a choir piece. Music is the only thing that stays when everything else is gone and being part of something so special at the school means so much. I love the ability to play music that has a direct emotional effect on others so I can see how it affects them. I have a strong interest in psychology, so this works for me. I also like the feeling of relaxation playing music gives me- as someone who is quite busy with extra events, I really need this time. I enjoy music because it is a way to express myself and sometimes a way to just enter a different world and leave the one i'm in
