It was the day, the day I was turning nine! I was so excited for it because it was a sleepover at a hotel! We were all getting our shoes and coats on to go to Benihana - Benihana is the restaurant that we were going to. Emma, Arden, Lilly, Anaise and Olivia go to P.S. 290 just like me, and are also nine years old! Then we bolted down stairs, to the lobby, and to the hotel doors and headed to the restaurant!
It was as dark as the night sky with the moon glow; the stars were shining so bright it almost hurt my eyes! When we were all walking we sang songs, and we also ran around like puppies running after each other. The songs that we sang were: Firework, Replay and Price Tag. My dad had to tell us a few times to stop goofing around on the street! When we were walking my mom said, Girls let s take a picture! So we all huddled up like penguins and said Cheese! When we got to the restaurant we had to wait a few minutes for our table. Suddenly a lady who worked at the restaurant called us to the table. Then the chef came over and cooked us all kinds of foods. He made food into letters that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY! He made a volcano out of onions, and then of course, it exploded! And then the CAKE! All my friends and mom and dad also my brother, sang to. [I was smiling the whole time!]
When we got back to our hotel room we scurried into to the room. We were playing games, painting our nails and playing music on my Itouch and Emma s itouch. My brother and his friends were being spies. They were spying on us. I said to my friends, Do you feel like we re being watched? We all thought we were. Then a loud sound in the closet caught is ears. It sounded like something fell or moving in there. I opened the closet door and there was my brother and his friend with his spy gear. His spy watch, his spycamera, and he even had something to record what we were talking about. So I hollered GET OUT! then I kicked him out of the room. When my mom said its time to go to bed we all said, Awwww. But we all knew it was the right thing to do. It all turned out to be the opposite. We all were talking and talking and talking... until we all kind of got tired some of us fell asleep. But most of us stayed up. The only person who was sleeping was Lilly. But only Arden, Anaise, Olivia, Emma, and me were wide-awake! We were all playing on are itouch s and videos games.
When my mom said its time to go to bed we all said Awwww. But we all knew it was the right thing to do. It all turned out to be the opposite. We all were talking and talking and talking... until we all kind of got tired some of us fell asleep. But most of us stayed up. The only person who was sleeping was Lilly. But only Arden, Anaise, Olivia, Emma, and me were wideawake! We were all playing on are itouch s and videos games.
Except for Lilly, I think we all got at least 30 minutes of sleep because Lilly was sleeping. What time is it? I said. We don t know, 3:45? they said. Do you know how tired we ll be in the morning? I answered. They both looked at each other like it wasn t 3:45 A.M. I suggested that we should play are I touches. So we all tip toed over to are bags like marshmallows trying to see in the dark! As we got are I touches, we tip toed back to are beds and played games! Suddenly we heard a yawn. We looked at each other giggling trying to keep our laughter in!
When it was the morning we were all so tired. We were all like zombies! Get up girls! My mom said. Do we have to? we all moaned Yes my mom said. So we all got up got dressed brushed are teeth and got all ready to go back to my house! I was happy that I got to talk and stay up with all my friends!!!
