Commodore s Report Boating season is here! Make sure to attend Opening Day on Saturday, 5/2. May is a busy month for the club, so make sure that you check out the Golf Outing and Cruise Night as well. We voted on some bylaw changes for the first time in April, so please make sure to attend the May membership meeting to help vote for the second time on the bylaw changes. I can't wait to see everyone out in the cove soon! Everyone have a wonderful boating season full of new memories and happy, sun-kissed days. Vice Commodore Shock Top has been a real success with the ladies. It s refreshing beer for the summer time. I still have Angry Orchard, Leinenkugel summer shady on tap. I will soon have Land Shark and Serra Nevada IPA Martini Night was a huge success, thanks to all the people who helped out and especially the martini drinkers who came out to enjoy the three best of the best martinis. I am still running specials from the martini night. Look out for the Grape Smash, Mango Martini and the Cherry Chocolate. After Opening Day the bar will be open on Saturday from 8pm to 12pm. Come out on a Saturday night or come up from your boat after a day on the river and enjoy a cold beverage. We look forward to seeing you this summer. If you are planning on renting the club for an affair please let the rental chair know as soon as possible if a bartender is required. Custom orders placed through the end of March are now available for pick-up. New custom orders placed through the end of April will be available May 15th. And, as always, we have new items and apparel styles in stock: window clings, totes, t-shirts & tanks, more sizes of pet bandanas, and much more. Stop by and check it out.
