j nput buffer capacty The prnter stores prnt data sent from your computer n ts nput buffer. Keep DP swtch -7 off to select an BKbyte buffer. Skp-over-perforaton Turnng DP swtch -8 on when you are usng contnuous paper enables the skpover-perforaton functon Use ths functon to leave a l-nch (25.~mm) margn between the last prntable lne on one page and the frst prntable lne on the next page. Ths causes the prnter to skp over the perforaton between contnuous sheets. Most applcaton programs take care of the top and bottom margns. Do not turn on skpover-perforaton unless your program does not provde these margns. Adjust your topof-form poston wth the MCRO FEED buttons to get half of the margn at the bottom of one page and half at the top of the next page. Contnuous paper page length When you are prntng on contnuous paper, DP swtches 2-l and 2-2 let you select from the four page lengths descrbed n DP-swtch Table 5. Tear off When you turn DP swtch 2-3 on, the tear-off feature s automatc when usng contnuous paper. The prnter automatcally advances the last prnted page to the tear-off poston. You can then easly tear off the prnted paper. The prnter automatcally returns the paper to the loadng poston when t receves more prnt data. You can also return the paper to the loadng poston by pressng the TEAR OFF button or the LOADEJECT button Use the tear-off feature only wth contnuous paper loaded wth the push tractor. Do not use the tear-off feature wth the pull tractor. Auto lne feed When auto lne feed s on (DP swtch 2-4 on), the prnter accompanes each carrage-return code (CR) receved wth a lnefeed code (LF). lf your prnter s double spacng, turn DP swtch 2-4 off. f each lne overprnts the next, turn DP swtch 2-4 on nterface Specfcatons Your prnter s equpped wth a parallel nterface.
