Posted at Information Desk Only LIVE final rounds will be posted Student Union Wisconsin Room Student Union Cinema NHD offers many programs for educators too (not to mention for college credit)! Learn about these opportunities from an educator. See how my NHD experience has changed the way that I am teaching WWI in my classroom. 1:50 2:15pm Awards Ceremony Student Union Cinema FINAL ROUNDS There will be a LIVE final round of competition for: JUNIOR INDIVIDUAL DOCUMENTARY (Lubar N110) JUNIOR GROUP DOCUMENTARY (Lubar S171) OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! There are no interviews in the final round, but students must still be present to play their project! There will be other categories with final rounds, but finalists will not be announced. No exhibit should be removed until after all judging is complete as final round judges will need to view the finalists. Final results will be announced at the awards ceremony for all categories. If you have any questions, please ask the volunteers at the: 2nd Floor Student Union NHD RAFFLE! Stop by the information desk to enter to win NHD swag! Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony. (Must be a NHD competitor to enter) Awards Ceremony in Union Cinema

C O N T E S T L O G I S I T I C S ATTENTION NHD STUDENTS AND GUESTS **Students go straight to event room, no check in** Exhibits: Open for viewing during public viewing times, only students being interviewed will be allowed in the room during judging. Bring 5 copies of your Annotated Bibliography + Process Paper. If you requested electricity, bring your own extension cord. Students must set up their exhibit themselves without any parent or teacher help. Finals Rounds closed; no students or public during Finals judging Exhibit take down beginning at 1:00pm Papers and Websites: Entries are available for viewing at: wisconsinhistory.org/nhdcontests Paper and website interviews are closed to the public, only students being interviewed will be allowed in the room. Make sure you check your links to your Annotated Bibliography + Process Paper. If they do not work, be sure to bring printed copies for your judges to view. You do not need to bring a hard copy of your paper and/or Annotated Bibliography + Process Paper, but you can do so if you wish. Finals Rounds Closed; no students or public during final round judging Performances: Open to the public* Students must carry in and set up their props by themselves without assistance. Students: Bring 3 copies of your Annotated Bibliography + Process Paper Documentaries: Open to the public* Students: Bring 5 copies of your Process paper + Annotated Bibliography Highly Recommended: test your documentary between 7:30am and 8:30am! Junior Individual & Group Documentary Students: there will be a LIVE final round in your event. Final Round finalists will be announced at the Information Desk. If you are a final round finalist, YOU (or at least 1 of your group members) must be present to play your documentary. There will not be an interview in final rounds. *We ask that you do not enter or exit a room while a film or performance is underway. Judges should open the door during the interviews and setup/ takedown; during this time, you can quietly exit and enter.
