Eligibility Guidelines continued... All groups wishing to participate must submit the following: 1) A Completed application form. Incomplete applications cannot be processed. Previous participation in Disneyland Resort Arts Showcase does not guarantee acceptance. 2) Audition materials: Video clips that accurately represent the performance. Photos of costumes being used for the performance. Application and audition materials must be received no later than six weeks prior to the earliest requested date of performance. Groups are accepted based on the quality of the audition materials, including video content. Some submissions may be declined acceptance. A limited number of performance opportunities are available through Disneyland Resort Arts Showcase. Applications and audition materials are reviewed and booked as stage availability allows, in the order received. While applications may be accepted based upon their audition, some may not be booked for a performance due to the limited space available. Audition Material Guidelines and How-To For schools and performing arts organizations with multiple groups, each group will be considered independently and each must submit separate applications, photos and audition materials. To be considered for performance, please submit the following: 1) A completed application form. 2) 3 short videos (under 5 minutes each) of the group in live continuous performance within the last 12 months, consisting of upbeat selections accurately representing the performance to be presented at the Disneyland Resort. This includes: The number and age range of performers Sample musical selections and choreography 3) Color photographs of the attire/costumes the group intends to wear for their performance. (images must show the entire uniform/costume/attire) IMPORTANT: All performers must be at least seven (7) years old upon submission of audition materials. In the event that your number of performers changes by more than 10% from what was submitted in your original application, or if performance content differs drastically from what was submitted in your audition, additional audition materials may be requested. Audition Material Guidelines and How-To continued... Submissions may be made via digital upload (www.relayit.net) or by mailing a DVD (address is included in this document). Please note that should you choose to submit in DVD format, that all discs are non-returnable and will be destroyed after review. Please allow up to 14 business days from the time your submission is received and accepted to the time your event is booked. Event times will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to any event date. Event times are only given when all required documents have been received. Prepare your 3 video selections: Save in one of the following formats:.m4v,.mpg,.mpeg,.mpeg-4,.wmv,.mov Only upload compressed (lower quality/low bit-rate) video files. Uploading high quality video can take several hours and may result in file corruption due to service limitations. Each video should be less than 5 minutes in length. Maximum size for all files combined is 1.5 GB. Title each file with the group s name and a number. For example: Group Name 1.mov and Group Name 2.mov. Prepare your color photograph selections: Save in one of the following formats:.jpeg,.jpg,.bmp,.gif Title each file with the group's name and a number. For example: "Group Name 1.jpeg" and "Group Name 2.jpeg". Once your files have been formatted correctly, it s time to submit them for review. You may save the files to a DVD (and mail them in) or upload them to www.relayit.net. To complete the upload option, follow the instructions below. Step One: TO: dl.community.arts.@disney.com FROM: Enter your email address. SUBJECT: Enter Organization Name and Group Name in the subject line example: Premiere High School, Premiere Dancers. NOTES: Include any notes that are important regarding your submission. EXPIRES: Be sure to select 7 DAYS. CLICK: Next Go to Step 2. Step Two: BROWSE: Select your video and photo submissions. SEND: Clicking Send Files will begin the upload process. UPLOAD: You will receive a message, Your files are uploading, please wait. Step Three: SUCCESS: Your files were successfully sent. You should receive an email confirming the submission. Page 3 of 6

Performance Requirements If your group is selected to participate, you will be notified in writing of your group s status. If accepted, you will receive: Written verification (via email) of your booking directly from Disneyland Resort Arts Showcase. An itinerary of your performance(s), which includes a link to retrieve detailed information to assist you in planning your event(s). Performance time(s) will be scheduled at Disney California Adventure Park, on the Hollywood Backlot Stage, based completely on the needs of the Disneyland Resort entertainment calendar. NOTE: Performances may be scheduled at any time of day and may require group arrival prior to park opening. To avoid time conflicts, please do not schedule other activities on the day of your performance. For your group to participate, Disneyland Resort Arts Showcase requires: A minimum of 15 performers for stage performances. All performers must be at least seven (7) years old. Stage performances must be a MINIMUM of 20 minutes and a MAXIMUM of 30 minutes, including transitions and introductions. All costumes, lyrics, music and show content must be appropriate for a family environment. Disneyland Resort Arts Showcase reserves the right to cancel (or request that you modify) any song that contains: lyrics, meaning, choreography, costuming or overall tone deemed unsuitable for a family environment. Music suitable for radio airplay may not necessarily be suitable for performances at the Disneyland Resort. Theme Park Admission Guidelines For each group selected to perform, complimentary One-Day, One-Park admission tickets to Disney California Adventure Park will be issued for all participating Performers, up to two (2) Directors, and designated Chaperones (ratio of 1 Chaperone per 10 Participants). Directors and Chaperones must be responsible adults over the age of 18 who are dedicated to providing supervision and assistance to the performers and their show. Complimentary tickets may only be distributed to Participants, Directors and designated Chaperones (1:10 Ratio), and under no circumstances can they be used by Guests not directly involved in the production of the performance. For Additional Guests (An Additional Guest is any Guest who visits the park at the same time as the group, and who is not a Disneyland Resort Arts Showcase Participant, Chaperone or Director), discounted tickets are available for purchase. NOTE: Unused tickets must be returned to Disneyland Resort Arts Showcase on the day of the performance. Should it be determined that the group has transferred Complimentary tickets to individuals who are not designated Chaperones, Directors or Participants, the group will be invoiced for those tickets at the full price rate of a One-Day, One-Park Adult ticket. Only written verification constitutes acceptance to the Disneyland Resort Arts Showcase. Not all groups who submit an application will be scheduled for a performance. I understand that the Disneyland Resort will schedule my group s performance at Disney California Adventure Park pending the availability of a performance location, and that all performances will be booked in the order that the application is received and reviewed. Disneyland Resort will not be responsible for delayed, lost or misdirected mail. Audition materials are non-returnable. I also understand that I will be responsible for ensuring that all complimentary Disneyland Resort tickets issued to my group will only be used by approved performers, chaperones (at a rate of one chaperone per 10 performers), and up to two directors. I am aware that these tickets may not be used by other third parties including, but not limited to: parents, family and friends of myself and group members, and that I and my group will be financially liable for unauthorized use of these tickets.
