There are many reasons to go to BookExpo & BookCon. Ingram is committed to providing display options that increase the impact of this show on your program. Additionally, Reed Expositions, BookExpo show management, is taking steps to return the show to its core purpose of facilitating interactions between publishers and their customers. Just a few important reasons to attend: Connect with booksellers Connect with specialty buyers and learn about additional sales channels Connect with librarians Connect with media Connect with Ingram Field Sales representatives Author exposure with signings, panels, stages Connect with readers during the weekend BookCon. Book sales are allowed during this event and you are able to connect directly with consumers. Reed is enhancing BookCon by adding a Family Headquarters section on the floor to feature interactive events for children and their parents. They are also bringing in more celebrity and bestselling authors to appeal to a range of readers. Space is limited. Please complete and return the reservation form (Click here) by Tuesday, January 24, 2017, to ensure availability. Reservations received after Tuesday, January 24, will be accepted on a first-come, firstserved basis within any remaining availability. Booth number assignments will be made in February 2017. Assignments will be made so that publishers will be located with their distributor. Publishers can select from Panel Displays or Dedicated Floor Space. Please read below for the details of each option. Panel Display: The Panel Display may be selected in Single, Double, Triple panels or even more sections. Each panel is 1-meter-wide (39 inches) and may be configured with up to 4 shelves above the 18 cabinet. To give perspective, three panels is a regular 10 booth space and two panels is slightly larger than half of a regular booth space. Reserve 2 or more panels and you will have dedicated table space with 3 chairs and may add-on fixtures such as a front counter if desired or request an adjustment to the height of your cabinet (standard is 18 tall). If you reserve a Single panel, you will have dedicated storage in an 18 tall cabinet, publisher logo branding and will share table space with your neighbor. Due to the width of the available space, single panels are not eligible for added fixtures. Publishers who select 7 or more panels may elect to have cross-aisle displays. Limited corners are also available for an additional fee of $675 each. Pricing: First panel US $2,920; Each additional panel US $2,635 Limited corner availability US $675 1 panel 2 panels 3 panels US $2,920 US $5,555 US $8,190 Panel displays are turn-key services, which include: Exhibit space charges Booth fixture components including small storage compartment, shelves, lighting, and furnishings as outlined above. Trash receptacles are provided. Publisher identification logo sign Show services including installation and dismantle labor and utilities. One-way shipping on Ingram trucks and material handling for up to 100 pounds per panel. The shipping bulletin will provide more information. 2 exhibitor/author badges per panel Graphics are not included but may be attached to each panel or printed directly on the panel background. Additional material handling is charged based on weight and method/location of shipment at prevailing show rates. The shipping bulletin will provide more information. Dedicated Floor Space: Dedicated Floor Space is for publishers who have their own display or prefer to display utilizing different fixtures. Dedicated Floor Spaces are carpeted, have show color pipe and drape back wall unless a custom booth with a solid back wall is used, but are otherwise empty space. Additional services will be charged as needed, including material handling, labor, electricity, furniture, etc. Available in full booth sections (10 x10 ). Multiple adjacent spaces may be reserved in any combination and publishers selecting 4 or more dedicated floor spaces may elect to have a cross-aisle display. Limited corners are also available for an additional fee of $675 each. Pricing: First space US $4,975 Each additional space US $4,725 Limited corner availability US $675 Space fees include: 6 Show badges for staff and authors for each booth space. Payment Schedule: Regardless of display type, publishers have the option to split their show charges into 2 payments or to receive them in 1 lump sum after the show. You will need to select your option when registering. 50% of space fees in March 2017, with remainder of space and added items in June 2017 OR 100% of space fees and added items in June 2017 All payments are in the form of a chargeback to the publisher. Promotions & Author Activities: Regardless of display type, publishers may distribute promotions, swag, catalogs, or galleys at any time from their display. Publishers with 2 panels or more or dedicated floor space may host author events directly in their space. Publishers with 1 panel will have the opportunity to host author events in their distributor s space. Exhibiting publishers may also elect to host signings in the BookExpo autographing area or submit authors for stage presentations and panels. The autographing information is available on the BEA Show Portal now. Autographing requests are due by March 2. More information is available in Bulletin 2-Signings-Stages. Author Stage proposals will be taken until January 4 through the BEA Show Portal. More information is available in Bulletin 2-Signings-Stages. Select Stage proposals will begin in mid-january. Exhibiting publishers will receive notice when available. If you are interested in other promotional opportunities at the show, such as banners in the lobby or sponsoring specific activities at the show, please let Judy Allen know. Panel Dimensions 2016 IPS 2 panel display BOOKEXPO & BOOKCON REGULATIONS: Show Management Regulations Publishers shall abide by all BookExpo Regulations as though the publisher was the Exhibitor and Ingram was the Management as it pertains to the publisher s boothshare. A copy of the complete show regulations will be provided upon request. Ingram Regulations Publishers should abide by all deadline requirements for orders and information. All orders for show services at the Convention Center MUST be ordered through Ingram, regardless of the type of space reserved. This includes Freeman, AV, electrical, internet, phone, plumbing, etc. Publishers may not encroach on their neighbors in any way. Publishers must be present to setup their displays prior to the show opening, staff the booth during the hours the show is open as well as packing of their displays after the show. Publishers may not dismantle displays before the designated show close time. Publishers are responsible for any damage to Ingram properties or Freeman properties resulting from publisher actions. Publisher displays and activities must be completely contained within their reserved space. All in-booth publisher activities must receive prior approval from Ingram. Failure to comply with the regulations mandated by Ingram may result in denial of exhibiting privileges at future shows.
